New Gandor has learned about the sinking of The Lady Kieva. The New Gandorian government releases this statement.
"The New Gandorian Government feels the government of Quebecshire acted appropriately against an unknown Morovian ship trespassing in territorial water. Intentions were unknown and choices had to be made. Anything could happen in a short amount of time, and many lives could have been lost.. Though these actions were not pretty, this is the path of defence and saftey."
The New Gandorian military has deployed the Aircraft Carrier NGS Antrepryza, the Battleship NGS Kirkov, 2 Heavy Cruisers (NGS Erie, and Obfity), and finally 2 Light Cruisers (NGS Czas, and Ogien) to patrol New Gandorian waters as well as trade routes important to New Gandor and its allies.

"It is unfortunate that so many lives were lost today, and I pray that they were in the Gods' favor. However, we will stand by our ally. Quebecshire has and still has every right to protect their coasts. The nation of Morova has no right to criticize a nation and ask for reparations while they’re country continuously falls apart and their citizens are desperate to leave.
Morova must ask itself this, how many lives must be lost for your government to clean up its act? This was not the fault of Quebecshire, but instead the fault of a failed system."

The Lyoan and Creeperian governments have stated that they support Quebecshire's recent actions regarding the alleged refugee ship "The Lady Kieva". Lyoa and Creeperopolis believe that Quebecshire acted appropriately to secure its borders from "possible Morovan aggression". The Cooperation and Development Coalition condemns Morova for sending a ship to Quebecshire for the clear purpose of "disturbing the peace" and refusing to respond to radio hails.

President Clark stepped up onto the podium. He picked up a three page handwritten speech he had prepared and ripped it up before the cameras. "Ladies and gentlemen of the media, foreign dignitaries, and representatives of our own nation's dignified military," he began slowly, "I was going to give on this occasion a short but sweet speech about the Paleocacherian Navy. But that is far from the most important thing on my mind right now. Paleocacher is a nation of the sea. We have only one neighbor to the south that directly borders our lands. Most of our commerce as well as much of our livelihoods come from the sea. The sea is a harsh unforgiving place. It grants us bountiful resources and opportunities for business and recreation. And yet it takes away. Great storms lash our coasts, icebergs and rogue waves sink ships. The sea binds our world together, it is something all nations share. Yet today a terrible tragedy has occurred. Details are sketchy, all we know is that 2,300 people are dead. For the majority their only crime was to seek a new life someplace better. It is too early and details too few to assign blame. We cannot blame the captain for his apparent failure to make radio contact, nor can we blame the Quebecshirite Navy for defending their nation's territorial integrity. The Paleocacherian government will do its best to assist the TCN and the governments of both countries come to an understanding and sort out what happened. To that end we will be receiving copies of anomalous radio transmissions monitored by Paleocacherian vessels off of Bostonia and they will be analyzed. It is my hope that the peace can be kept and the sea remain a place for all the nations of the world to use. To that end, I present to you Paleocacher's newest naval vessel the battleship FPS Leviathan. This ship which is being launched today will be fitted out for eventual deployment to the Western Fleet where it will become the new flagship. "The rebels in Nyabari effectively used snipers to harass our forces in the city. I say we do the same to them. The rebels are currently in the eastern outskirts of Namoya, so we should prepare to meet them before they get deeper into the main town. We will have a harder time fighting the deeper into the center of Namoya they get."

The Government of Malgax condemns the actions of the ship and it’s commanding officer, and believes that he, along with any other crew members who participated in should be arrested and tried for their actions. Malgax also expresses sympathy for both the Morovan government and the families of the refugees for the deaths caused by the sinking of the Lady Kieva.
