Someone calling herself the World Assembly Improvement Foundation sent me a telegram asking my opinions on a recent World Assembly resolution. I am suspicious of her doing that. Could she be a scammer?

Lady Gaga. She's the only one confirmed to be on the field that day.

Gotta go with my Cowboys! I'm not naive and know it's a long shot, but anything can happen any given Sunday and the Packers D is less than stellar. If the Boys can control the clock Rodgers can't beat us if he isn't on the field.

Here's a joke I found in the MSN comments section of a story the had

The Lone Ranger and Tonto had been out huntng bad guys all day and had worked up a powerful thirst. They rode as fast as they could to the nearest saloon, where the ranger told Tonto, "Look... Silver is hot and sweaty and I don't want him to get sick, so I want you to stay out here and run around him so the breeze from your buckskins will cool him off quicker. After that, come on into the saloon and I'll buy you a beer". The Ranger was sippng on his beer when a stranger walked in. "Whose big white stallion is that outside?", he asked. "It's mine', replied the Lone ranger, "Why?". "Just wanted to tell you... you left your injun runnin''.

No not a scammer I got one too and looked she's in a self founded single nation region called the General Assembly. I believe she want as misch info as possible to maybe sway the WA in her favor when she announces her proposal which I think will be soon. How do I know, I don't I'm just guessing.

I received one too but I have no intention of answering it as I deleted it and moved on

I actually did respond this that telegram, but pretty much left it at one word or one sentence answers.

w**** New WA Resolution Notification *****

There is currently a new General Assembly Resolution at vote. When expressing your opinion, please note which Resolution it is for. And remember Texans, your individual vote does count!

The new Resolution is called:
"Repeal: "Nuclear Arms Possession Act"
A resolution to repeal previously passed legislation.

Category: Repeal Resolution: GA#10 Proposed by: Frustrated Franciscans

General Assembly Resolution #10 "Nuclear Arms Possession Act" (Category: International Security; Strength: Mild) shall be struck out"...

<see the General Assembly for full text and to vote>

Oh Boy, we have a Repeal! Oops, not that one! When this one came around in June, 2008, Texans loved it by a vote of 16 for to 1 against. As we described it at the time, "What a great Resolution! This is an effort to head off the lefty, tree-hugging, planet-savers from banning nuclear weapons. And you know what? We are all for it. This is pretty straightforward stuff." Eight years later, we say the same. Fight the tree-huggers! As a reminder, the issue here is the REPEAL of the existing law. A vote AGAINST this Resolution means you are in favor of the existing law and do not want it repealed. A vote FOR this Resolution means you want the law off the books. NewTexas will go on record as AGAINST on this Resolution. This is only the opinion of NewTexas. We look forward to other Texans' opinions and comments on this Resolution. If good arguments to the contrary are made, we will reconsider our position.

The Texas response was down on the last GA vote -- Protection of Nuclear Armaments -- which was defeated after gaining only 34.4% of the vote. As a reminder, all we are looking for is a simple 10% of Texans to say one way or another. We are a force for change in the WA. Every vote counts! There were 2 publicly-expressed opinions on the last Resolution with the final Texas tally running 0 FOR and 2 AGAINST and 0 ABSTAIN and 0 UNDECIDED. Texans were unanimous on that one! Yay!

NewTexas has already voted on this Resolution in advance of publicly expressed opinions. We did this at the urging of many leaders in the World Assembly. As we have been saying for years, Texas is a force in the WA. Many feel that Texas can influence the overall vote if it votes first. There is an observed "lemming effect" that occurs during voting. Apparently a large number of votes are cast based on whichever side of the issue is leading when voters vote. Therefore, to get the most impact from our vote, we are now voting first. We will re-evaluate our original vote at midnight prior to the current vote. As always, we are open to suggestions on how we should vote on this Resolution to most accurately reflect opinion of the populace. Comments are welcome from all nations, both WA Members as well as those who are not. Please make your voice heard on the current issue either on this message board or on our offsite message board. But, by all means, please vote on the WA Page!

If you would like to take part in shaping the world you live in, please vote. Voting is a right and a privilege, please consider using it. And, if you are not a member of the World Assembly, we strongly encourage you to join.

All WA Member nations please vote. Please make your opinions known in Texas by 11:00pm Thursday and in the World Assembly voting booth by 11:00am Texas Time on Friday the 13th. Current voting in The World is running - Votes FOR: 2731 Votes AGAINST: 5634

I didn't watch but I've got friends that are Bama fans, so at least Bama lost. I will essentially rout for anyone not named the crimson tide, especially being an Auburn fan.

It depends on what option you choose when your Nation receives that particular issue. Mine says the same thing because I'm an atheist nation and that's the chocie I chose.

Oh boy, if these new Trump allegations are true, this might be the biggest political scandal in American history. Forget about the golden showers for a second; Russia has potentially been working to make Trump an asset for 5 years. I mean, what the fudge is even going on anymore???

Eh I just think it's all hype to tarnish the presidency of trump before he takes office. After all I'm thinking none of this would have seen the light of day if hillary won so I find it as a double standard.

You all realise that celebrities are just going to be bad-mouthing Trump on Twitter all day everyday for the next four years just so he won't do any actually work before the next election?

I know some celebrities will be most will just get over it and just go on about their days making more money then I. Speaking of that I hate it when celebs turn something like the globes or other award shows into a political platform example Streep bashing trump at the globes. I saw a comment saying that all the celebs are "fighting" bigotry, and hate yet their showing hate. I thought the commenter was funny when he said that.

Ok, we have a liberation. You know the drill, usually. But, this one is not actually an invasion. The Founder is alive and active and has been through the duration of this occupation. That is not an invasion. If the region (Founder) want the invaders out, they have the means of doing it and need no help form the Security Council. We do not know what is going on here, but it is sketchy to say the least. Don't let the word "liberation" confuse you. This is a Founder-sanctioned "visitation", by invaders. Oh yeah, invaders suck!™ Do not vote for this. NewTexas will go on record as AGAINST on this Resolution. This is only the opinion of NewTexas. We look forward to other Texans' opinions and comments on this Resolution. If good arguments to the contrary are made, we will reconsider our position.
