Some people like to create collections of cards with a theme. You can also junk the cards to get bank, but you might be able to sell them for more. Some of the cards have a larger market value than their junk price, and you can also collect cards to acquire the most powerful deck. If you don't want or care about cards, you can junk what you have and then go into your settings and click on 'no cards' so that you won't have a chance of getting more when you answer questions. I hope you find this helpful.

WHAT DOES BANK DO?!

The trateron empire

Hey bros, I was before in The conquers of galaxies, and the leader of the region ohio alliance lost his account because he could not log in. He is praying to God so God can help him get his account back. When he puts his password to get it back, it says incorrect password, and his email doesn't get messages to get it back. Can anybody help. One like equals 1 prayer

Question of the Day:

What does your nation's art gallery look like? (Either in character or sitewise)

Tethys 13 wrote:My answer:
In-character, the art libraries of the Tethysi are enormous. The Tethysi have encountered cultures that communicate through art rather than writing, and so consider paintings to be pseudo-literature, with gallery-libraries (gallibraries was rejected) being organised in much the same way as regular libraries, so visitors can view paintings conveying information on near any subject, and then of course there are the 'fiction'-equivalent shelves.
Sitewise, the art gallery of Tethys 13 primarily holds 13 copies of each of its own cards, with a few other Osiran cards scattered around.

Bank is basically money. I see you have junked all your cards except your own and now have over 14 'dollars' in bank. Now you can use that bank to buy new cards. Go into your cards page and look in the upper right-hand corner. There is a link that says 'Market.' Click on that and it takes you to the market where cards are being bought and sold. Scroll down, and if you see any cards you like, you can bid on them. Others will bid too, and someone might outbid you, so if you care about getting a certain card, watch the bidding. It takes an hour to process, and every time a new bid is made it adds a minute to the time.

Further, you can visit other nations and check out their card collections and bid on any cards that you like. To bid on a card, click on the card and click on the 'info' button. That takes you to a page where you can place a bid by clicking on the 'buy' button or make an offer to sell a card you have by clicking on the 'sell' button.

In this way you can use bank to buy the cards you want and build your collection. If you want to create a specific collection, there is also a tab for that on your nations Card Page.

Anyway, that's a basic rundown. Just play around with it and you'll start to pick things up.

Do you prefer physical or digital media?

Physical! Digital is much easier to access normally though.

What is a sure-fire way to put you off a story?

Out of place unneeded romance storylines are often the fastest and one of the only ways to get me to put down a book.

Question of the Day:

What story particularly subverted your plot expectations and predictions?
Remember to use

if appropriate.

At the start, I was rather convinced that Abuela had sacrificed first her husband and then her son to power the 'Miracle', and that Mirabel or Dolores would be next. The generally sinister air around her, the prominently placed picture of Abuelo that is focused on while the house is doing its magic for Mirabel, the fact that 'We don't talk about Bruno' who saw the future and disappeared (which I took to mean 'saw what Abuela was going to do and was then silenced'), Abuela's line 'each new generation must keep the miracle burning' (by serving as fuel, aha!), etcetera.
Also, for the start of Mirabel's solo song, I thought she actually had the Gift to manipulate time, and was hiding it from her family. I was a bit disappointed when that turned out to just be strange directorial choices.

Oh hi

Esteemed Leaders and Allies,

I take this opportunity to convey the representation of Abdoura, featuring our capital, El Norado.
Within our nation, decision-making is a refined process, made by the two leaders "abdo" and "noura", meticulously crafted through deliberate discussions, in order to experiment and test communication methods. Where our cocktail of north African and Germanic culture shapes the wonders present within our borders, amplified by our varied and breathtaking landscape . Enter a nation where dialogue strictly molds decisions, and where El Norado serves as an emblem of our dedication, and we would be pleased to join all of you, in this wonderful region

We our welcome to any and all of your questions,

I returned to NationStates after like a year lol

Hey Osiris! Its-a me, the Polls RO from Iwaku, coming at you with another poll for our Osiran bffs. Here's the premise:

Let's say you're reading a book. You like the book fine, but you don't like the perspective it's written in. Maybe you don't like the narrator being a character in the story, or maybe you don't like events unfolding in present tense. What perspective would you prefer it be written in?

Jolly Reaper

I really prefer 3rd person perspective. The other people in the story are not me, so the writer describing them from an outside perspective makes logical sense to me.

Now, I don't base everything on logic, but I do value logic and rationality. Even so, I do not believe in everything making sense all the time, because what fun would there be in that? In the case of this premise you've presented, however, 3rd person would make me feel the most comfortable.

3rd person past perspective. I feel like 3rd person present, 2nd person, and 1st person present belong in a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure Book. 1st person past is fine, but it's best only for personal accounts and not adventures or books that explore themes containing several, initially seemingly unrelated characters.

Just explaining my reasoning.

Or I could scrap that and say that most of the books I read happen to be 3rd person past, and that it's all a coincidence.

If you mean card decks, then only unique, non-Aboriginal flags are around. (i know too much)
If you mean rich-Kharostie private collections, then there, you can find many rare artifacts, including book illustrations and paintings from the monarchy era.
If you mean museums, then everything, including other nations' flags.

Do we got Lazarus, Balder, and The Pacific in the chat??? Just asking, the image is too blurry
Edit: I saw balder but not the other two
