Regardless of when the map is updated, you can begin roleplaying. That's because you are considered a citizen – I approved you as such. :)

Executive Decree Amendment 002 has been enacted. This decree amendment makes changes to ED 006: "Deputy Secretary," giving more flexibility to the Secretary-General to fill abdicated Secretarial positions.

As of this morning, the tragic drought that has spread throughout most of Kilaguni has officially become the longest and most extreme drought in the country's recorded history. The drought has devastated the agricultural sector, leaving many without jobs and causing significant damage to the economy. As a result, the price for utilities have sky-rocketed, forcing people out of homes and closing many smaller businesses. Sadly, the government welfare system was ill-prepared for such an event and is failing to aid the millions of less fortunate citizens.

The President has suggested a new welfare system that will hopefully be able to handle the sudden boon in unemployment and homelessness, however many members of Parliament are against the proposal, believing that they should just let capitalism run its course.

In other news, The anarchist communist has announced the beginning of an international smoking contest. Despite recent events, Kilaguni will be participating and has put forth Tambo Okotie-Eboh to challenge the reigning champion Yawman Bolevich. Okotie-Eboh is a renowned marijuana smoker and one of Kilaguni' most well-known and beloved drug addicts, having won multiple smoking and drug-related contests all around Kilaguni.

Suddenly, a baby starts crying cause he dropped a toy. The driver looks at him and in the most calm way possible says, "Come on kid," the bus driver said "you can make it without a cigarette."

Our nation has decided to partecipate to the... strange contest organized by the nation of The anarchist communist.
We put forth Marcello Goto to challenge the current champion. Marcello Goto is a venetian, famous for his legendary drinking and smoking performances. As every ordinary venetian, Marcello prefers alchool to smoke but he has offered to partecipate to the contest anyway. He also proposed to add a drinking challenge to the smoking contest ( but he was a bit dizzy drinking gallons of wine and grappa while saying this..so don't take him too seriously...)

Yawman, who has seemed to increase in his drinking, is glad that you proposed the drinking contest, much to the dismay of the actual government. He agrees to this challenge, but says that it must be 190 proof or above. We wish you victory.
