But what if a woman doesn't get the nomination?

I am writing in Kamala Harris regardless of if she gets the nomination or not XD jk

But the California primary is in 2020 so technically this statement is true.

I really hope that one will...even if it isn't Kamala (although it looks that way and it'll be all but certain if a certain old man who used to be Vice President doesn't run).

Look man
As long as you don’t but LBJ on a bill idgaf

Amsterwald wrote:I feel like the faces on the bills should absolutely depend on merit. A woman shouldn't have a bill just because she's a woman, yeah? The same should go for a man. I'm not fond of the idea of taking off Jackson—who helped fight off the British in the War of 1812, finished paying of Revolutionary War debts and repaired our relationship with the United Kingdom—and replacing him with a woman just because of the gender disparity.

But that's, of course, just my opinion.

Yeah I see that, though if we are doing it by Merit, I don't believe Jackson would be a fit choice.

Perhaps we should just have a picture of the South on every bill instead, far better then these northerner concepts.

Depends on how much I lost. XD

Sadly for me in such a hypothetical situation, losing my anime files would mean losing everything to me ;~;

Astarina wrote:What if it was the ghost of Hirohito?

First, I would consider such a situation to be highly unlikely. In most cases, I would think Hirohito would be proud to see me supporting Japanese industries, such as the Animation Industry :3

But if it were to somehow happen, I would have to abide by his wishes. Certainly a drastic move made by him would warrant a very important reason to do so. He is wise after all ^<^

The only Democratic nominee I'd consider is Klobuchar

I'd be upset if she won, but only marginally

Well the people who've been suggested are women who've done great things for our country.

Susan B. Anthony, Rosa Parks, Eleanor Roosevelt, Harriet Tubman...

all women who play a vital role in the history and shape of our country who's achievements, in my opinion, far outweigh those of Andrew Jackson.

Amsterwald and Liberalina

I am personally saddened we have not put Calvin Coolidge onto a Dollar Bill yet ;-;

I like Amy Klobuchar. She'd make a fine VP candidate.

A double women ticket would make me so happy I could die and go to heaven.

Like Harris/Warren, Harris/Gabbard (although I'm not particularly fond of Tulsi Gabbard), Harris/Gillibrand, Harris/Klobuchar

Personally I’d be in favor of rotating out pictures with each series of bills and distinguishing them by size or color, like in the UK.

Or a national competition to determine the six most important Americans :p

yeah exactly merit goes first.

Amsterwald and Diwi

Tbh FDR should be on a bill not just on the dime.

Valijun wrote:yeah exactly merit goes first.

I only have one gripe, why is Abe Lincoln, the man who brought about the end of slavery, saw the nation through a civil war, and did the best he could to bring the nations back together before being killed.... Only on a 5 dollar bill? The guy should at least replace Grant on the 50 or even Jackson on the 20. XD

Warren will sink anything she's on imo, as will Gabbard because of her past stuff, which I'm guessing might be the stuff you don't like her for

Gillibrand seems a little fake to me, I was talking with one of my teachers about her and she agreed

She said, and I concur, that Harris or Biden is the best shot at winning. Even then I think Harris is the only one who can win, and even then it's only if Schultz stays away

But we're trying to stray away from the whole "we killed almost every single native" thing, lol. So Jackson could definitely be replaced

Glad I’m not the only one who thinks this.

Ah yes, “Internment Camp” FDR.

Certainly an exemplary man >_>
