You should be proud that you got a dispatch that far-reaching and popular! Few nations have had a dispatch get that big!

Nah, don’t worry about it. lol.

Petea wrote:For policy that affects huge goups of people it’s best to use the clearest language possible to prevent confusion. The people who make the policy won’t be around forever to explain it. I think the average person reading the policy/law should be able to confidently know what a policy/law does and how it affects them by reading it alone. This is mock government after all.

This is absolutely true. I support People should know what the information (law, contract, etc.) they learn is about.

Introduction
Hello to all the South Pacific residents!
I can bet that most of you love food, after all, who doesn't?
So I decided it would be a good idea to hold what I call Culinary Contest of the South Pacific, where those who wish can submit culinary recipes that they like. Now, let's go to the rules:

1. Theme
For each new contest, the Minister of Culture, or equivalent, will select the theme they prefer.
The current theme is: typical national/regional food!
There are no restrictions on the type, it can range from a simple sweet to a complex recipe, but remember: people will judge!

2. Subscription
Those who want to participate in the contest must describe it in a dispatch and ping me in it. In this dispatch there must be:
a. the name of the dish and its country/region;
b. an image of the dish;
c. a brief description explaining its cultural significance;
d. clear instructions about how the dish is prepared, including preparation method and ingredients.
Only one recipe per person is allowed!

3. Judgement
The judgment will be made by the TSP residents themselves, through voting through a poll on the region, similar to what happens in SwanVision!

4. Prizes
The three winners will have their main nations listed in the region's world factbook, with their respective titles:
1st place: Chef de Cuisine
2nd place: Sous Chef
3rd place: Chef de Partie
As a way to congratulate them and to serve as an inspiration to other people.
Additionally, your recipes will be placed in what I call the "Cookbook of the South Pacific", which will record in detail the three finalist recipes. Of course there will be another factbook recording all the contestants, don't worry!
The last prize is, drum roll... choosing the next poll in the region! As long as it is appropriate (PG-13 and nothing really personal), anything can be asked!
IMPORTANT: THE DEADLINE WILL BE EXACTLY TEN (10) DAYS! STARTING TODAY, MAY 5TH, AND GOING UNTIL MAY 15TH!

Final Considerations
I hope to see everyone participating! That's all. Good luck everyone!

Your Minister of Culture and Secretaries of Culture are still not happy. We want more, more!

BEEstreetz wrote:It's a bit cryptic but it's meant to say that employers can exploit visa workers... In the event that domestic legislation addresses (some) possible exploit, but doesn't cover (said) exploit in the event that it's an employee with a work visa...

So while I can imagine the exploit existing and while I'm willing to give benefit of doubt that this legislative loophole exists, my issue with it is in (3)'s presumption that an international body be given delegated prowess to ensure this. No.

As if the terms of the resolution are acceptable (judging by how I understood them so far), but not the accuracy of its wording is a problem. In addition, the matter regarding the relations between the worker and the employer is not a matter of the world organization, but of the local government of the country, in general... Yes, no one is saying that we should forget about the rights of workers, but again: this is the matter of the local government.

You mean about yourself?

Anyway. So we have to create a database on police suspects in Microsoft Access for a class and I forgot to save the damn thing.

So I have to redo it

Republic of Rhode Island wrote:You mean about yourself?

It hurts when you do something for a long time, and then you forget to save it, and you have to go through this path again... If your work before that did not take a lot of time, then there is no problem. It's just a nuisance, nothing more.

How?

It’s so fun! Don’t even do it for profits at this point, just streamlining the human suffering

Ammmericaaaa wrote:Nah I’m already halfway through lol

We're planning to commit to the 5th General Deportation this year since the conservative government took over. We are sending back over 12,000,000 foreigners excluding tourists. We made new laws to ensure Portolovs are employed and not some foreigners. The thing is, all immigrants that will stay for a long term ARE BAD. No matter what education, life or influence they have. This policy will save us 39 Trillion POR in terms of government funds and decrease crime rates by another 13%. We have seen this work between the 1st and the 4th General Deportations where 84,284,389 people registered were deported and we saw a 30% decrease in minor crimes and 153% decrease in major crimes. We declared all immigrant syndicates, organizations and non-profit organizations as an Category 2 Terrorist Group. Issues. are. immigrants.
