I share your sentiments in that regard. In order to strengthen the bonds between us, how about we publicly declare an official military alliance between our two great nations?

Such is a sympathy we accept in terms, but must decline in outright action. We are, in the sense of our government, those who embrace a nationalist and rather isolationist sentiment of existence, and would find such an action to be degrading to the governmental policies of our people and nation. We would like to extend our regrets, and our humbled minds, to you and your people, while equally so extending a wish of a verbally affirmed mutualism rather than that of a national alliance.
