and besides, there are thousands of other war criminals out there. Charitia's ex-empress is just one of them.

Kinda.

U feel tempted to tell you, but I just want you to keep guessing.

No. Just do it, or tell me.

Gears are already in motion. There's going to be a fair amount of writing for my idea.

On top of my current finals and Santa Kampf for a month, you won't see anything for a while.

I almost fell down the stairs twice today.

The death syndicate may I have a description of a hive-queen's physical appearance?

Pakitsk wrote:With a good meal (or just water, in Letwin's case) in their bellies, the party has come to the door of the Grand Ataman's hall, a great sheet of lumber framed in silver and reinforced by iron strips. On either side of the gate stands a soldier in a dull green uniform, rifle at rest next to them and bayonet fixed. After Martis explains that they have been summoned by the Grand Ataman himself, the soldiers stand aside and let them enter the hall.

A deep, proud voice greets them upon entry. "Hail, visitors to my hall! Allow me to complete my business, and then we may speak." As they await their turn to step forward, Martis and Vorgas gaze around, wide-eyed, at the interior of the hall. Apart from the Grand Ataman's seat (a surprisingly plain, if elaborately carved, stool) and the woven carpet leading up to it, the most eye-catching thing about the hall is the horse-hair banners hanging on the side walls: that of clan Ólātsk upon the left, and clan Pârkóv upon the right. They line the walls all the way up and down the hall, stopping only at two large statues, carved out of bright wood, of horses reared up on their back legs. Martis nudges Letwin. "Up there at those statues is where we should stop and lay down our blades; I have never been in this building before, but it's about three horses' length from the Grand Ataman's seat."

Letwin nods, looking rather pale, and glances back at the door as if contemplating his chances of just straight-up running out. But of course he doesn't follow through on that -- just pushes his glasses farther up the bridge of his nose and takes some deep breaths. "Right. Thank you."

Er, one sec, lemme consult the morphology thing in The fortiscarab swarm... I'll need a fact book for it, but I think I mentioned it before.
Edit: I need to format that better, dear god...

From what I remember, yes, with a thinner translucent shell and the ovipositor sack thingy kinda hanging off of the massive bug.

Acrobistan mentioned something about rising tensions and extremist ideologies, can someone inform me about both of those on the map?

Okay so somehow, in my dumbass brain, "ovipositor" was stored as "thing exclusively used for laying your eggs inside other living animals" and I was briefly horrified by the implications.
