I'm back after a couple of days! I was busy moving into a new place and now I've been drafted into emergency dog sitting for my cousin's big sweetheart puppy named Rikku. She is recovering from a surgery and I need to make sure she doesn't mess with her stitches and bring her out to go potty and other stuff. I'm just really happy right now as I'm writing this message because after a full day of Rikku not cooperating with me because she didn't trust me I finally won her over and it's suddenly smooth sailing! Now I feel comfortable enough to be able to just chill out some while I watch her.

Greetings, and also sorry for having been so busy lately. It's now time for me to catch up on all the stuff and things that have been going on for the past unknowable period of time.

So after a reasonably successful prompt from Sylh Alanor to start working on building this region again, we've passed some updates to the ever-revising Revised Statutes, did a little bit of recruiting, and now we're decently ready to start having regularly scheduled events once again. Regrettably, while Emily is great and amazing in all ways, the placeholder "Neato Burrito Admin Lady" is not technically a position recognised by the statutes (yet), so alas she has been reduced to delegate.

Because the new updates to the RRS are in, I will now invite anyone from the region who is a Member State to offer their candidacy for Councillor of Foreign Affairs, Councillor of Culture, and Councillor of the Interior. For this cycle, I will maintain Councillor of Operations (sorry sleepers, no border control for you today). These terms are to fill until the normal election cycle returns.

Question: What do these do now?
Answer: You can find out by reading RRS 6. in the Refugia Revised Statutes

Question: Who is a Member State?
Answer: You, if you were just pinged here!

I will presently be collecting Foreign Affairs candidates for the next five days, followed by an RRS 9. election if there is more than one candidate. No member is presently term-limited.

If nobody wants it, I'll do it, but I don't want this to be another thing where I agree to fill the spot and then Culture or Interior isn't filled.
