Airolian Prime Minister to Travel to the Oceanside Town of Wellianne for a Meeting with the Governor of Seeshorn Province
"Cameron Slater, the Prime Minister of Airol is to travel to Wellianne, the second largest town in the small province of Seeshorn. Governor Tom Reynolds requested Slater to meet with him in Wellianne, or the larger city of Juthebourg to talk about the incorporation of the tiny seaside province into the larger province of Henithton."
The Province of Seeshorn has had a problem with a dwindling workforce for the past 10 years, it doesn't help that Seeshorn is the only state with a Negative Population Change. Also, the cost of 'Peska' the leading fish in Airol has slowly decreased with a surplus, which doesn't help Seeshorn and their fishing community.

Presidential Camp
Williams woke up earlier than usual for a Monday. He got up, worked out, and showered before the delegations arrived. Everything would take place at the Presidential Camp, a retreat in the mountains of Jamestown that provide a relaxing and private atmosphere. Each of the delegates had arrived last night and were currently on their way by either carvan or helicopter in the order in which they arrived.
"Mr. President, North Electirca is two minutes out" said Charlie Young, the President's aid.
"Thank you Charlie" replied the President, straightening out his suit in the mirror.
Together, they walked out the door and took a seat in a golf cart, which winded through the dirt roads. On all sides you were surrounded by beautiful trees, towering high above the camp.
They arrived to a clearing, and you could hear the blades of the helicopter in the distance, cutting through the air.
The President and his team stood at the end of a line of military personnel dressed in their uniform for special events. To the side, was the Color Guard, carrying the flags of each country. The helicopter quickly came into view and landed in the field. The doors opened, and out walked the 
North Electrica delegation and John Frost the representative. The military immediately snapped to attention and saluted. Both the AUS and NE leaders shook hands and smiled for a quick picture before being rushed away for the next delegation.
Just as the President and John Frost arrived to the front gate of the camp, a caravan of limousines and security SUV's arrived. The setup was very similar to before, with a military line and a Color Guard. The first limo pulled up, and out walked the Kendrickland delegation and Queen Anna Kendrick. The soldiers immediately snapped back to attention and saluted. The delegations exchanged greetings and stood for a quick photograph.
The next limo pulled behind the first and Her Grace, Empress Taihe and the 
Feng Dynasty delegation emerged and walked through the military guard to meet the President. All the delegates smiled for yet another picture before being taken back to the main campsite.
Two Hours Later: Meeting Hall
"I want to thank you all for making the long journey here. This commitment we make will help to ensure a better planet for generations to come. While it may be a small step, it is a step nonetheless, and with one unifying voice we have declared that we expect the most from each other. Toby will you go over the schedule?"
A middle aged man next to the President stood, "yes sir."
"Good morning everyone. Starting now, we will begin talking about strategies for managing this deal, followed tonight by a State Dinner and the deal signing tomorrow. Unless there are any questions, we can get started."

OOC: Hello mate, welcome to the region! This is a really friendly one, with a whole variety of different nations with varying political ideologies, sizes, policies and activity rates. After a page or so of reading on the RMB you'll probably have an idea of the different styles of posts people do, some post domestic news, some have ministerial statements, some have ongoing stories with particular focuses. There's all sorts, but your post was really good, anything that builds the character of your nation or interacts with others and adds to the region is good!
A military company caravan was headed to the GUPS border on orders from President Ostrav Jr..
"Sir they are 43 miles out from the border", said General Yari.
Ostrav stood looking at the screen. He was beginning to get nervous. The only reason he was given this post was that he promised the resistance he would take the GUPS, but this was a lot. This action would be seen as the start to a major war, the biggest the nation had ever fought and it would all be in his hands. His heart was pounding, but he couldn't let his Generals see. If he looked weak, there would be many waiting to steal the Presidency from him.
"30 miles out", called the General.
"Stop. Stop then now!", shouted Ostrav
"Um, sir?"
"Let's wait at 30 out."
"Why?"
Ostrav looked at the growing number of people watching him.
"We want to make them nervous. Don't want them to know what we are going to do."
"Good idea sir" said the General, "Whiskey One. Hold still. We will give you orders to move again.", said the General into his radio.
"Rodger that base. Whiskey one, holding postion."
"Let's make them sweat, hold the units until I give the word."
Ostrav walked out of the room, his hand shaking. This decision only bought him time, unless there was a miracle, he would have to go to war.

I will likely be inactive for the rest of this week due to work, and the following week I am going to be doing adventure training so will be completely inactive. I am aware that there are ongoing RPs with 
Kjanu, Kendrickland, and upcoming visits including to 
AusValia, and a hosting of one including 
Arwindom, and Feng Dynasty. I do apologise for this, but have wanted to let people know so that they are not left hanging. The latter two nations please by all means arrange an alternative meeting between yourselves and a further establishment of relations can be discussed at a later date, pending the international situation.

In a shocking and most unsettling statement, the Ministry for Governance announced that the current President, Mr Yazir Noussef, will be stepping down from his role, due to the development of a serious heart condition. Furthermore he is also facing accusations of severe and scandalous corruption, allegedly using public money last year to secretly acquire personal shares in the government-run mining conglomerate CMER (Coandawe Mining, Extraction, Refining), under the veneer of making personal gifts of investment. As such Prime Minister Abidemi Tubarge, currently with President Karaguma of Kjanu, will also be taking on the role of acting President. Rumours of early elections being called, despite the next ones being still three years away are flowing extensively in some circles, though there has been no confirmation.

Armed North Electrican guards stood next to John Frost, the rest outside near the aircraft or at the doors, but despite this Frsot smiled and did his best to ease any tension.
Frost: "We can proceed, and I also would like to thank the AusValian president for inviting NE to this meeting. With the troubling time Electirca is going through, it's nice to have something better happen."

The Green Deal Signing
Presidential Camp 7:00pm
Under a cloudless night sky, the delegations gather for a celebratory State Dinner. Above them are white Christmas lights strung from polls, a live Jazz band playing on the stage, while everyone sat at their tables, each lit with several decorative candles. The menu for the night was provided by world class chef, and dear friend of the President, Chef Gordon Randolph. Everyone had a whole list of items to choose from, a tomato soup for an appetizer, beef wellingtons or salmon for dinner, with a coffee-chocolate layer cake with mocha-mascarpone frosting for dessert.
During a portion of the dinner, President Williams pulled North Electrica representative Jack Frost over for a private conversation,
"Would you please pass on to your government that the AUS is always willing to assit their allies. I would also like to arrange a quick State Visit to meet with your leadership if possible. I know you all have a lot going on, so this doesn't need to be something fancy, just a conversation with one of our closest allies."
After a night of dinner, conversing, and dancing, the delegations called it a night.
Green Deal Signing 10:30am
The delegations gather for the official signing of the Green Deal. Outside sits roughly one hundred some chairs for reporters, various staff, and some VIP citizens. In front of the chairs sits a row of tables covered with a white cloth, behind them is the flags of all the national signatories.
The event started with a tree planting ceremony on behalf of the Kendrickland delegation. After which each leader spoke.
Finally the time had come, each leader sat at the table and one by one the book was signed. At the end they all stood, shoulder to shoulder, President Williams next to Empress Taihe of the Feng Dynasty, for pictures and handshakes.
A woman walked up to the microphone and said, "I present to you, the leaders of environmental protection and leadership."
The whole area erupted into applause.
Domestic News:
Some 100 demonstrators showed up outside the Presidential Palace to protest the President's proposed Green Deal. The crowd, mostly made up of automakers and miners, say the preventions in this bill will only hurt employees, driving down wages, and subsequently hurting the economy. CJ Craig, Press Secretary for the President has reassured the public that this deal will pay off and, "Car companies are moving to greener alternatives, so ultimately this will have a positive impact." Protests are planned for the reminder of the week.
Hurona, Arwindom, Kendrickland, and Coandawe
The SC leadership has contacted Ambassador Stevens to confirm a report that five AusValia intelligence agents were taken by SCG forces just outside District 10 in Soust Calica. The group, led now by General Farrah, is demanding ten SCG prisoners taken by SC forces be released for the five agents. Any rescue attempt will be met with violence.
The President has reaffirmed that the SC is fully willing to work with the AUS and provide anything necessary. We are also willing to release the ten terrorist if asked.
Airolian Prime Minister, Cameron Slater, Meets with Governor of Seeshorn
In the oceanside town of Wellianne, the Airolian Prime Minister met with the Governor of Seeshorn, Tom Reynolds.
Reports dictate that Reynolds brought up strong points, but Slater didn't agree to anything concerning the merging of Henithton and Seeshorn. Reynolds claimed to be very disappointed and went onto say...
"With PM Slater not agreeing or signing anything that had anything to do with the incorporation of Seeshorn into Henithton, I am not sure what to do now. Our district is the only with a population deficit, and we have no solutions. The Montgomery Plan, the one concerning the migration of city dwellers failed, only gaining a few dozen. Our district might be small, but has a lot to give! Beaches, fish, beer, and Fun! Dozens of job opportunities from a chef, to a school teacher, to town mayors, are all open. Other plans like the Sampson Plan of making our district a Federal Territory failed. Anything we do the government pushes back. If nothing happens to help us, I suppose we'll consider the secession of Seeshorn into its own nation."
With much speculation on how PM Slater will react, the nation watches in anticipation.
