Also Melenchon was fringe. He is in no way indicative of the political spectrum in Europe. Communism is effectively dead in all countries, too, and socialism (in all forms) not particularly strong. And where it exists, it's little different from the established parties, retaining often only the name and moderately social/economically leftist policies.

He won 19% of the vote
19%
I understand if this was literally who candidate but almost 1 in 5 French voters voted for him.
I'd rather get McShot and McDie in a McHospital then have 1 in 5 voters vote for economic suicide

They're pretty much social Democrats. Denmark's PM git quite pissed about Americans calling his county socialist.

Jute wrote:And why would you want to leave the EU and the NATO? Do you want to destroy the basis of both your prosperity as well as your security?

I cannot understand how a European would want out of NATO.

Jute wrote:That is entirely wrong. https://www.thelocal.dk/20151101/danish-pm-in-us-denmark-is-not-socialist
They're all social democracies, and their economic freedom tends to be even higher than the one of the US.

This post is literally the most satisfying thing I have ever read

Don't be afraid to ask if you have questions about anything, we have a ton of people here who would be happy to help make sure you're caught up.

Would it be considered wise to come into this region as settlers, and build up a necropolis from scratch? Or should I have pre existing tombs and undercities here that I awaken?

It was probably a protest vote just like Trump was for many, or Le Pen. A lot of people apparently thought "why not" after seeing the country not improving under either of the major parties. Also, he was a populist, so he told some people what they wanted to hear even if it was unrealistic. Maybe some also didn't think too much of that tax suggestion, or thought it wouldn't be passed anyway.

An actual necropolis may be outside of what we are. We tend to be slightly post-Modern Tech (Not like post-modernism, we're way too literal for that). Things that are too sci-fi or fantasy haven't fit well.

That being said, some nations have found clever ways to blend some sci-fi elements like Star Wars into the RP pretty well.

Something like 96 or 98 percent of Trump's voters said they wouldn't change their vote if they could.

Unless their vote was just protesting Hillary, we aren't allowed to say he won the protest vote anymore.

I think that's true, though. Many were protesting Hillary and thought her the bigger evil.

What if I managed such a power in a fair way? Such as, say in battle, skeletons and zombies would obviously be weaker then normal, modern soldiers. I would be happy to blend into a modern society. I hope I don't come across as pushy with this reguest.

I severely doubt Trump was a protest vote. I just don't think many Trump voters would have voted differently if it was say Ben or Ted. Maybe if it was someone like jeb but I just can't see any decent Republican strategist not winning especially without having to fight a good portion of your own party

I think the group concern would have to do with fairness and more to do with reality.

That's a shame.

Do you recommend any region more suited to my preference?

The Skeleton Army would have been perfect when they were active. Their whole thing was about going to other regions and "invading" them with hordes of undead.

Another options would be to ask people here for suggestions. I'll admit that I don't RP very much myself, so I couldn't give great suggestions about how to fit your nation into regional canon.

You could also start a side RP. We have our main official RP, but people are always doing things on the side too.

Thanks for the advice. I suppose I could give it a shot, and move on if it's just not fitting.

I'm a Military Dicatorship and I'm a active member of a organization which promotes human rights. I think a undead nation will be fine

I dunno, we have had countries like SE and LMI do magic stuff, so my policy is to let it be as long as it doesn't ineterfere too strongly with tech balance.

The followers of nagash This is coming from an RP mod who has more authority than I do, so I think your chances are pretty good :)
