The Dictatorship of The Hellas State is a colossal, socially progressive nation, remarkable for its irreverence towards religion, devotion to social welfare, and stringent health and safety legislation. The cynical population of 2.85 billion Greeks are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.

The enormous, socially-minded government juggles the competing demands of Welfare, Education, and Defense. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Athens. The average income tax rate is 73.1%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The sizeable but stagnant Greek economy, worth 17.3 trillion Drachmas a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector is led by the Retail industry, with major contributions from Information Technology, Furniture Restoration, and Pizza Delivery. Average income is 6,080 Drachmas, and distributed extremely evenly, with practically no difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

The tenet of free speech is held dear and The Hellas State has designated Athens as its capital city. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a very well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. The Hellas State's national animal is the dolphin, which frolics freely in the nation's sparkling oceans.

The Hellas State is ranked 58,883rd in the world and 11th in Greater Middle East for Safest, scoring 100.48 on the Bubble-Rapp Safety Rating.
