Corinne Vereyn Affirmed as
Emperor, Then It Gets Stranger...

Yesterday, the Imperial Senate affirmed Link Corinne
Avery Vereyn (image provided) as the Emperor of Greater
Cosmicium. She is expected to hold a press conference on the
aftermath of the Personifier incident tomorrow.

As the investigation of the Automated
Personifier Incident continued, evidence was found that linked
the sole human to leave the room, "Corinne Vereyn" to Kasren
Vereyn, the Emperor of Greater Cosmicium.

However, this evidence was slow to reach
politicians, who fruitlessly searched for the Emperor even
across 200 billion light years for weeks, while Corinne
was busy repeatedly storming the Palace to retake
her rightful position.

Corinne Vereyn was finally able to
take the position of Emperor after a detailed analysis
of the Personifier incident was made, and genetic
samples compared to those previously taken, proving
a 100% correlation between her and Kasren Vereyn,
and proving that they were the same person.

But as with the rest of the Automated
Personifier story, the event only got stranger with time.
First, three copies of Corinne appeared at the Palace,
before literally poofing into a cloud of smoke, then Corinne
turned into a perfect mirror, and finally, the biggest and
worst one: Kasren Vereyn returned as well, in his original
form, to the shock of basically everyone. In the direct
sight of Corinne Vereyn no less.

When the "two bodies in one mind",
as one Imperial Senator put it, made eye contact with one
another, they just stood still, doing absolutely nothing,
just staring into one another. They had to be forcefully
split apart by Palace guards.

Paul Jenkins, the main designer
of the Automated Personifier, is now working on a device
that would allow the two bodies to warp in and out
at will, allowing the Emperor to take the identity of
both Kasren and Corinne at the same time.

In the meantime, the Temporary
Imperial Council, led by Carl Haaldron, will remain as
the regent for the Emperor until the spatial procedure
is complete.

The CosmInfo Database entry for
the current Emperor will be updated to reflect the new
identity, and should be done within the next few days.
