This isn't the end of raiding only Max can do that. TBR will reinvent itself.

You need to stop spamming.

Spamming includes the following: One word posts in a short amount of time, Double posting, Triple posting, talking about your penis, making nonsensical and pointless posts, posts that can't viably be responded too, and posts that serve no purpose but to derail the RMB.

You were asked politely by another nation, I'm not asking.

Sorry for the double post here:

TBR is founder-less, and it looks like the invaders are setting up a new government and structure to keep it... Looks like they might even force it to Defending. I'm tempted to join the the crusaders in the occupation of TBR.

Have fun with it

Ah, it was more I was too excited after I read about TBR :3

Well, the core members of TBR will just up and go elsewhere, so there's been no major long-term impact.

Still, at least it is a boost for morale for those who, frankly speaking, have been getting sick to death of that lot or have been constantly "liberated" by them. Frankly, this is the reason raiding groups should not leave their founder or delegate position open - essentially, one of their core tactics got turned against them.

Given the current position that TBR has been banned from recruitment for three months, and the near-DOS status of Halcones and Bob Moran, it is hard to see TBR coming up strong again. It will lose its position as the #1 raiding group in NS, for it will not be able to recruit members, and I believe internal disagreements will cause it to fracture into different splinter groups.

It's probably the end of raiding hegemony in the R/D game. Not a bad thing, IMO.

Hmm. Forgive me for being skeptical, E&E, but I think TBR will still be around for some time to come.

Regarding the ban on recruitment: is this just a temporary measure or a permanent one? Because if its the former, then they'll just likely puppet-spam to try and make up the short-fall in numbers. Hell, I can bet my bottom Royal Drac that well over a third, if not more, of their "members" are sock-puppets.

As for any internal disagreements, well I'm no expert on them. The least I can hope for is that there's such thing as "benevolent raiding", but I suspect the opposite end of the Raiding/Defending spectrum might already have that covered, as was amply demonstrated.

Still, having been quite ardently against raiding, I confess it is a bit bittersweet for me watching one of the more notorious (or at least, more publicised) raiding groups finally get a taste of their own medicine in such a spectacular fashion. And hey, if anyone tries to get the old region back, it won't be too much of a loss for those who seized it in the long run.

The ban on recruitment is a temporary one which lasts three months, in which time they are not allowed to recruit by any form requiring telegrams at all.

I do understand that there are sock-puppets in the TBR roster - but - given that raiding requires the use of WA nations, it's a bit of a futile case to compare numbers via the unadulterated numbers they have as that would be pretty pointless. I would believe that there are also sock puppets in Ygg - we don't have a WA membership as amazing as Europe, but we don't have a bad one like the puppet regions or even Wintreath (their del has less endos than me).

I'm slightly glad that I've seen the day TBR went founderless, because it's not something you see often. I am just kinda confused as to who really seized the region in question.

When was that recruitment ban enacted?

Harime nui wrote:When was that recruitment ban enacted?

I think today.

The current occupier has every intention to lock the region and keep it locked. The core of TBR consisted of 10 around 10 people who did all the actual invading, everyone else was just a semi-inactive piler or a puppet.

If the regions locked and the core goes elsewhere, they will still only be a fraction of their previous strength and have to rebuild. If anything, the loss of their region during the update battles to take it was only made possible because half their region was at the current target, so this was a huge blow to the moral of TBR regardless of the outcome, who will most likely splinter into multiple groups because the not only the leader is gone, but the main marshal, so the people they're left with are scrapping around trying to figure out what to do.

They can't recruit until they recreate, they have no real way to communicate with everyone anymore, and the only thing they do have is a 60 high pile on the current target, which can be taken fairly easily with the 140+ pile we have right now on TBR.

I don't even understand what the point of raiding is except to troll.

Just came out of my interview. I'll know next week. *fingers crossed*

Some people find the trolling fun I guess. I personally find it mean.

My good thoughts will have shipped by then.

It's mean whether you find it fun or not. I find kicking people really fun, but it's mean, and I get in trouble for doing it, so I don't do it. Trolls don't usually get in trouble though.

I have my fingers crossed as well.
