This up coming Thursday!

Theirs is in October.

Speaking of ThanksGiving I have a story to share. The first time I visited Boston (alone) was over ThanksGiving. Oh gosh, that was a wasted trip because nothing was opened, not even McDonalds! I remember only Dunkin Donuts was opened, I walked miles and miles just to find a toilet. It was a deserted city.

Yep.. all the city folks come to our small towns for thanksgiving.. this means I'll be annoyed by the constant traffic for a few days..

Actually, I used to live in Boston, and recall giving a tour to a group of friends over Thanksgiving. Yep, it was quite deserted, although we were able to find a couple of places open (and they were more interested in the outside of the buildings anyways).

Now there's a parody of the Ferguson incident on South Park. The joke: Cartman and Butters spied on Craig's mom with Butters dads drone. Now, a neighborhood watch was established - with drones. Randy, Stan's dad, was flying his BLACK drone around when a police drone shot Randy's drone, and stopped a drone protest, riots began. HAHA! Oh I love South Park

It is way too early to be parodying that.

Puñeta, who's online?

Did Stella go online? Did she look for me?

Oh it's fine. I personally believe the entire event is an over-reaction to someone being killed.

It's us, as man, responding to an issue like we had always believed. Like our ancestors had done. We've tried marches, protests, wars, violence. None of it works. We need to change ourselves, change what we do, change ourselves as individuals and as people, before we can change society itself. If we find peace in ourselves we can make peace in the world. That will be my last statement on the matter. Thank you.

Probably the reason why I find myself not very much on the webs these days.

Governor General Dave the Brave made a statement on the riots and events in Fergunson this morning from his office.

"Good morning. I have received word of the worsening situation in Fergunson Missouri, and I am deeply distraught by the reports of violence. I urge restraint for both sides of the conflict. To the protesters, I stress that violence, and destruction of property is not the way to get your message across. To the police, I advise you to back off, and not resort to using guns or disproportionate violence against protestors. on that note, I must say I find it disappointing that the justice system of America has yet again failed it's citizens. I also find the police's actions and use of disproportionate force against protestors as clear violations of protestors rights. I also feel that the United States itself cannot claim it is the world leader of liberty, justice, and freedom. Because the events in Fergunson is a clear violations of all three of these principals. Maybe next time the US so boisterously intrudes into world affairs and criticizes other nations for their human rights, I suggest they try to deal with the massive Human Rights violations in their own country. I do hope the situation can be resolved peacefully, and violence can be avoided in the coming days. I am also putting a freeze on any further contact with the US, and relations will be frozen from this point on."

"Thank you."

In a poll done today shows:

The US' Approval rating is 9% and Disapproval is 91%.

96% of people:

support the protestors.

Believe the cop involved in the shooting should have been arrested.

The police force should be condemned for their use of violence against protestors.

Racism is still a problem in the US.

Believe the federal US government needs to do more to stop the violence in Fergunson, and help fight racism around the US

Can I get a source on that? Something about those numbers doesn't make sense.

Yea, I heard that the vast majority support the judgment. It's jusy a tiny(yet very loud) who support the protesters. Besides there is never an excuse for looting, even if the cop was wrongly arrested they still would have rioted, simply in celebration.

White people in fergunson, but not African Americans and some white supporters.

I should not that in my long post that the polls are for Davsland, not the US.

I think we can agree that there's a history of police ineptitude in Ferguson. Though in so far as recent events are concerned I think they have acted in restraint. There's over a thousand national guards and police in town and yet they didn't stop the protesters from burning property, looting, or throwing rocks at news reporters
They could have challenged them and made mass arrests but they allowed the rioters to do what they wanted for the most part. Reportedly over 150 gun shots were heard-- none fired by the police. If police hadn't acted in restraint the situation would be a lot worse now. 😕

Yet they have fired at protestors, and unlawfully arrested protestors. Also, the people feel like the police do not stand up for African Americans, and that they feel the police are racist. Also, they feel the police got away with killing another unarmed citizen. Also, the police are using military equipment, and military style tactics. Those are not police offices, they are soldiers. Most people agree that the polivce have not been acting in restraint. if you don't believe me, go on Twitter and look up Fergunson.
