Apparently I've been disqualified from my private health insurance because I'm not a full time student anymore. Fortunately I'll probably get away without it, it just means I don't want to think about elective surgery anytime soon.
I caught a cold recently for the first time in almost two years. I blame it on mostly living off bagels and Asian take out while being in the US.
It was, btw, also the first time I ever developed a real craving for vegetables.
So the head chef at the restaurant i work at walked out yesterday. The owners offered me his salary. I took the offer... Down side is the other chef left two weeks ago to open another restaurant too, so its basically just me and a new guy that's worked there for two shifts, and some dish washers. Let the chaos begin!
