Lady Irene Adler wrote:Hello ladies, I'm doing fine. Dave and I have adopted two sisters aged 5 and 3. We're having fun adjusting to our new roles as parents, Dave just dotes on the girls. Otherwise I'm just on my monthly/bi-monthly lookie lou keeping my pups alive.

That's wonderful. It's nice that you have kept a family together. They won't have to wonder what ever happened to their sibling.

See you all later.

*waves* See you in a month, Allison.

See you when you finally get back. :D

Congratulations Rabbit. I am so happy for you.

Thank you, Allison. We'll be happy when you finally do return.

May I have another cup of tea?

Amelia, would you pass another one of those Pączki that you brought. They are good.

Sophie Devereaux wrote:May I have another cup of tea?

Sure, dear. *refills Sophie's cup*

I had an idea. We could RP my wedding here on the RMB. What do you think and would it work?

Thank you. *sips*

The idea is sound and you have enough girls here for the bridesmaids, but what about the room and groomsmen not to mention the officiant. That does pose a problem with your idea. I suppose that one of us can be the officiant.

Soph make a valid point. We have a definite lack of men to pull this off. It seems tat only Cast and possibility Andrew are active. The rest, who knows.

Maybe your groom-to-be should join NA, if we're going to go that far!....Also, I request that I be able to wear a tux.

Also, I'll gladly take some more tea. And baklava.

True, I thought of that after I posted my idea. :(

*fills Tiltpa's cup and passes a slice of Baklava*

It would, but he's more interested in his fantasy sports and other hobbies. I was going to ask you to be my Maid of Honor, but I have never heard of one wearing a Tuxedo.

We need some more active men in the region. Amelia get on with the recruiting!

Oy. Fair enough with your beloved. And who's to say I can't be the first?

??? Who ever saw a wedding photo with a Tux on the Bride's side. That would be a first imho.

A first, yes. Hopefully, it would not be a problem.

It's been done, especially for same sex couples. See here --> https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/70/ff/c5/70ffc56193bf1f0588600bcd7ecbcbbb.jpg

I didn't know that.

Ugh senior research is dragging me down.

I have a new computer. YAY!!! Maybe, my ISP allowing, I can start to be here every day...or not. :(

I think that Tiltpa would make a beautiful maid of honor in a Tux, provided that she chooses a nicely tailored one with suitable heels. I think that black or silver sandals would be cute.

Hit the books, Cast. You need to bring your average up.

Thanks, Amelia. Though I can't walk in heels very well at all, unless they're platform-y and not crazy high. I'll just need to grab a suitable corsage.

*hugs Tiltpa* Walking and running in heels is just mostly a matter of practice. I remember my first pair when I was 13... I was all over the place and how I avoided breaking my ankles remains a mystery to me. There are a number of Youtube videos that give you good tips and demos. I kinda liked this one --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3a141Kwmkjk My limit in heels is 3 inches, but higher than that, I just don't see me pulling off.

I thought that we'd all have matching bouquets.

Tiltpa wrote:A first, yes. Hopefully, it would not be a problem.

It won't be a problem for me, I just was unaware. I'm a traditionalist at heart.

Thanks for sharing. I'm better informed now.

I don't like stiletto's, but I like a more substantial heel especially at the higher heights. Six inch stiletto's are just insane and a good way to break an ankle.

I understand completely. Been there done that. :( But do consider that it's one of a girl's rite of passages among other "firsts". ;) :D

I wish that there were video's like that when I got my first pair of heels. I wanted training wheels, but only had my Nana's walker until I got my balance figured out.

I'm with you on that, Zoe.

IKR. There seems to be instructional videos for just about every conceivable topic. I could have used them back in the day.

Wow....shocking amount of relates on the topic of heels. (I'll watch the vid once I'm out of school--thanks, Rabbit.) Could I get away with two inches?

IKR I used this one to learn how to play this song--> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-LGMC_Ly1o

I'm sure that would be fine. I'll be wearing 3 inchers most likely.
