That was a bad idea.

I might've made a binary addition calculator, but multiplication has blown up by head.

Adding 8 value places? Fine.
18? Not fine.
I need to carry like a dozen ones-

I ended up getting some insane septillion thing in multiplying 511*511 (261,121) during a test of it.

I'll keep trying.
It makes me feel fulfilled.

I hope so, too.

Why is Maxifaerian tech ‘bad’? Because it’s uncooperative with other nation’s technology. Our methods of tech are just like the fallout games, tech that is inefficient but still advances.

So in the event of a nuclear war across Z’verto, there would be no access to the internet anywhere across Z’verto.

Fact that nobody asked for: This is my 3rd nation.

The War Council aims to have a total of 8 Aircraft Carriers by 2072 [4 years], with an ultimate goal at the present of 10 by 2076 [8 years].

At the present, two are in construction at Bournemouth Naval Station, expected to be completed in early 2069. [~12 months]

The War Council aims to decommission the Fallmark class of Heavy Cruisers by December of 2068 to spare resources for the class meant to succeed the yet-to-be-finished Ithilay Battlecruiser.

To spare further funds, the Armed Service might face further cuts in manpower to maintain the goal of a massive carrier fleet.

8 Aircraft Carriers!?!

Unless they’re really tiny and terrible, say goodbye to any other armed forces. I have half as much DF as you but when conversing with the smartest navy enthusiast on the RMB (The MoA), I’d only be able to have one while still maintaining the other branches, and even then it wouldn’t be good.

I don’t think eight is possible-

Edit; I thought you had like 30k DF. Nvm. It makes it even more impossible now.

Greetings, Usonia federal states, Agarotha, Garghania!

Welcome to the Pacific! We're delighted to have you here. It can be a bit daunting to play NationStates or to be in the Pacific for the first time (or if you're just coming back!), but we're here to help you out. Below you'll be able to find a checklist of things you can do to get started as it will help you get a grasp of the basics and introduce you to the wider Pacifican community. If you're not new to NationStates but new to the Pacific, do make sure to still follow the instructions; it helps out a ton!

  • First things first, join the World Assembly! It's like the United Nations but in NationStates. If you're confused on how to join the World Assembly, this guide should be able to help you out.

  • Once you've joined the World Assembly, you can endorse any nation that is also in the World Assembly. It is extremely important for the security of the region that you make sure to endorse our World Assembly Delegate East Durthang.

  • Now that you've endorsed our World Assembly Delegate, you can join our forums and then apply for citizenship in the New Pacific Order. At most, the process will take a few days, and then after that - you're officially a citizen of the New Pacific Order.

  • The last thing that you need to do to get started is to join our Discord server. It allows you to communicate with all the members of the New Pacific Order, stretching across 3 main branches and other games as well. Since you're a citizen, you'll also get access to the special citizens-only channel too.

    BONUS

  • If you fancy yourself as a roleplayer, it's important that you make sure to read the RMB Roleplay Guidebook as it allows you to get an understanding of the basics of how roleplay is conducted in the Pacific. If you don't like the type of roleplay presented, you might want to consider joining the other Pacifican Roleplay Groups.

We hope you have a great time here in the Pacific!

Elyreia
I had some inspiration, it is mostly in the head, but the first and last chapters are not.

Gefreiter Karl Jeske moved through the quiet night of Norgard where shots still rang out from the corners of the streets. This squadron swept a street of Northern Norgard by the coast of the Sea. A quaint breeze shot itself across the docks and by the buildings rustling some loose textiles and planks. The great moon, was a nice moon, a big moon, a bright moon shining through the sparse clouds at the moment. Everything got colder as the breeze ran itself; salty, the smell was salty and the horizon was so peaceful. Disturbances were only the boats of the Niralyon Merchant Marine and the Elyreian Navy. From afar shots rang out, some closer and some nearer, the Gendarmes did mount a defence which hopefully would fold soon, though anything could happen. Then a sound happened, a sensation one could say everything went numb, then black and after that silent. It felt like an eternity, but more importantly, everything went back.

Eyes began to open themselves with a gasp and Jeske was alone, all alone. Norgard, looked different; it looked the same but strange somehow. It was an unfamiliar territory in itself, though it now looked a lot more different than the days of fighting. The massive stone blocks were exchanged, it all looked more, bricky. Everything was wrong, it felt like his home region in the tablelands, but very much like a cheap copy one would find on some website. Karl stood up and looked around. The horizon was strange, it looked like there were landmasses outside of it, with obelisks and other tall towers sprinkled on these. The boats never existed, floating islands replaced their masses with lighthouses and hooded figures standing inanimate around the edges of these. Salty was the air, smelling more of seaweed now, while the breeze was replaced by chants of unknown origin which were processed by the soldier.

On the edge of the seas by the coasts was a figure, or rather, a multitude of figures. Jeske approached them, it was strange to say the least, while his body ached curiosity got the better of him and he shambled to the beach. No Docks were seen while he shambled, the back of the figure turned to him. It was not the average clothes the figures were wearing, they looked old, like from the history books he was forced to read in school. When the sand was reached, the figure turned around, its porcelain skin reflecting the green light of the strange and unfamiliar moon. A green moon painted the dark green sky full of stars of distant worlds. It was beautiful and unknown. The figure had lifeless eyes like that of a doll, it was the rebel general of the second Tableland wars Freimann. The one who ventured away and disappeared after the great flight on the river. Behind this figure was the raft wagon with its entourage. The figure pointed to the city with an almost mechanical movement, pointing to the streets of this fake Norgard which looked to be made out of pieces of his hometown; Kohlbrunn.

The entrances to the inside of the city were blocked now by figures. They had uniforms, similar to the Gendarmes, but also of the Stollbergers and Niralyons. All standing beside each other and chanting but hooded, faceless and unmoving, almost hovering in place. A gigantic Figure rose above the city, it looked like a; thing. Was it bird-like, or was it more aquatic? It was indescribable, beautiful and to be experienced. It seemed to beckon Karl, invite him. Then Karl started to float, seeing the figures of his heroes below his feet watching upon him, with the sea in a changing colour from a deep blue, to a green and a dirty yellow. The Figures chanting raised their heads and looked up, the floating islands came nearer. Then the inside of the city was seen, it hurt to see it as such. It was a grotesque copy, even more disturbing than the coast with buildings made from materials never used for construction like pipes.
The figure beckoned and the Soldier floated towards it.

Everything stopped, and a numbness spread across the body until nothing was felt again. After a while, Jeske started to feel and hear again, new sounds, sounds of a military hospital where he now laid in. It was disappointing, the imposing figure gave hope, that needed to be experienced. It was relieving but the real world was nice too, he could guess. He awoke and could see in a blur again, after an hour he could see sharper and leaned up. Such imperfections, everything needed to be perfect Karl thought, a strange feeling spread itself across his thoughts, like he wanted to scream, but he couldn't. So he had to wait and hope for new information, or maybe dreams from that place.

Hello there, Llalalalalallalal, Falikaniva, Briare!

Welcome to the Pacific! There are a lot of ways to enjoy NationStates, and the Pacific caters to all of them. To get started in the Pacific, it's important that you complete the below steps to fully enjoy your experience here in the Pacific and the New Pacific Order as either a new NationStates player, newcomer to the Pacific, or as a returning NationStates player.

  • First things first, join the World Assembly! It's like the United Nations but in NationStates. If you're confused on how to join the World Assembly, this guide should be able to help you out.

    New Pacific Order
    -

What is the World Assembly and why should I join it?

The World Assembly, often abbreviated as "WA", is the NationStates equivalent of the real-world United Nations.

    • Vote on game-wide legislation: World Assembly member nations are able to vote on resolutions that reach the floor of the General Assembly and Security Council, thus allowing you to participate in determining game-wide legislation.

    • Endorse other nations: WA nations may endorse (similar to social media "likes") other nations in the same region as them.

    • Write WA resolutions: WA nations with 2 (two) or more endorsements may submit WA resolutions of their own for the entire game to vote on.

    • Bolster the strength of your region: The more endorsements our delegate, East Durthang, has, the larger the weighted delegate vote in the World Assembly is, granting us more influence over international WA affairs. Furthermore, the more endorsements our leadership holds, the more difficult it is for hostile forces to seek to invade or disrupt the stability of our home.

    • Become a Pacifican Vanguard: Nations who endorse our delegate receive the title Pacifican Vanguard, are featured on this list, and are eligible for exclusive rewards, such as custom nation banners.

Joining the World Assembly is the easiest step you can take in order to participate more in NationStates!

How do I join the World Assembly?

Follow the following five simple steps to get started in the World Assembly. If you need help, click on the spoiler sections to reveal screenshots of each step.

    1. Visit: page=un

    2. Click "Apply to Join". You must have an email registered with your account to access this feature.

    3. Go to your affiliated email and click the link provided. If you cannot find it, check your spam folder.

    4. You will be directed to a page where confirmation is required. Click the confirmation button on the page.

    5. When you are in the World Assembly, visit East Durthang's page and find the "Endorse East Durthang" button. Click this. Once that is done, you will have successfully endorsed your Delegate!

    -
    • Please note that the game only allows you to have one nation as a World Assembly member at any given time! NationStates moderation may remove and/or ban your nations from the World Assembly and/or the game for violating this rule.
    • If, for roleplaying reasons, you do not wish to join the World Assembly make a separate nation to use as your World Assembly nation.

    What is Discord?

Having probably heard about New Pacific Order's Discord server, either from your fellow Pacificans or from simply reading the regional page or dispatches, you might be wondering how to join it. Or not, if you are already a proficient Discord user, simply skip every step until the one where the server link is posted.

Now, for those unaware, LinkDiscord is a communication app available in browser, PC app or mobile format that allows its users to form large organized communities. These communities are called servers, in most cases, and each one has its own specific organization and set of rules and moderators. The intent of this dispatch is to provide an initial introduction to how to function with Discord and, more particularly, the NPO's server.

    Benefits of Joining Discord

    • The ability to become fully integrated with all opportunities available in The Pacific and make the most out of your citizenship is attained through joining the most active aspect of the region.

    • A chance to help determine the regional direction for the World Assembly votes is also available if you so wish to help dictate our decision for specific proposals, including your own.

    • Discord gives you an easier route to meeting the extant regional leadership, discussing regional affairs, and is necessary for people who aspire to become involved in our government.

    • Inclusion in the full regional experience and introduction to the wider community of the New Pacific Order is available through Discord membership.

    Getting Started with Discord

The first step would be to make an account in Discord itself. While not necessary to utilize server it is usually recommended due to ease of reusability and practicality. An account is absolutely free and simply unlocks a lot of features that a guest user might not have. Simply go to Linkhttps://discord.com and register an account, preferably with a username that won't breach any NPO rules, and this step should be done. You'll inevitably be prompted to confirm your email, so simply check your inbox.

With your account registered you now have a few options. You can choose to do one of them, or even all of them. You can open Discord on your browser, download and install the application or download the mobile app. Any of them will work for the purposes of this tutorial, though the PC app is more flexible in terms of functionality (use of one platform does not exclude the use of others).

LinkClick here to join the NPO Discord server. It is as simple as that after every previous step has been accomplished. Click it and after a prompt to join the server you will be in. Now comes the more specific part.

Upon joining the server, if you have already applied for citizenship and been accepted (if not, check this dispatch for a guide on how to do it) Linkpost here to request that your account be added to private channels.

If you have any more questions pertaining to the use of Discord itself, feel free to ask the people within the server for help. We hope your experience within the community is fun and fruitful.

Tbh, this entire time I was under the impression that Path simply didn't notice I had only 17k DF when I thought they had 30k DF themselves.

I had to initially psych myself into thinking "Pathonia has another planet! Surely they'd place a good potion of their military there!" just to make myself think Z'verto was in any form safe.

Now knowing that Pathonia isn't absurdly powerful, the 'Continental Quartet' will be less restrictive of what their operatives do when in Pathonia- ;)

Born: Sīgliūra 2, 426 DE
- Age: 26

Gender: Male

Height: 1.8 m (6'1)
Weight: 78.0 kg (172 lbs)

Hair Color: Dark
Eye Color: Brown

Nationality: Elyreian

Current Position: Lentos Elyreia
-Previous Position: Metalworker Guildmate

Spouse: None
- Issue: None

Information

Aemyx Mystreon is an extreme progressivist and reformer member of the Elyreian Lenton, as well as a famous revolutionary and war hero during the Elyreian Civil War. Infamous for throwing a chair at Lord Jova IV Torhed during the latter's attempted coup of the government, Aemyx has been at the forefront of organizing grassroots movements with his contacts in the guilds to fight for greater democratization, the overthrow of the noble houses, and the alignment of Elyreia towards liberalizing governance.

Personal Life
Aemyx was born to lower class citizens in the dense urban sprawl of Volaria as one of three children. From a young age Aemyx was influenced by the inequality seen in his schooling and social circles, and was witness to the struggle of the Laborer's and Metalworker's Guilds in being recognized as just as important to the nation as more lofty organizations such as the Merchant's or Artisan's Guilds.

Upon taking his Oath of Citizenship, Aemyx opted to join the Metalworker's Guild as an apprentice, and spent two years in the Vaelans-Volarian Metalworks in Vaelanstone before becoming a full member of the guild and taking up permanent residence in New Volaria working in various manufactories related to commercial and military industries.

Aemyx was inspired by House Kastareon, notably Vaekar Kastareon, for their constant work in focusing on the well being and lives of their citizens rather than the political posturing exhibited by other noble houses. Aemyx helped organize rallies and town hall meetings for Vaekar's re-election to the Lenton, which helped spark Aemyx's own eventual run.

Civil War and Regency
Aemyx was present in the Lenton when Lord Jova IV Torhed organized an attempted propaganda vote in the Lenton to establish himself as regent until 'dire security threats' were resolved. Having essentially been held as captives in the Lenton for over a week, and inspired by the defiance of Prime Minister Vaekar Kastareon, Aemyx joined in the voices that demanded Torhed's immediate dismissal and formulation of a caretaker government headed by the Lenton to determine the future of Elyreia with the apparent death of the Princely House. When Lord Torhed ordered the arrests of the Lenton members, Aemyx was caught on live video throwing his chair, which weighed over thirty pounds, across the chamber at Lord Torhed and his guards, and became a symbol of resistance to the regency.

Along with the rest of the Lenton dissidents, Aemyx was rescued by partisan forces when they were about to be moved to transports and relocated to Torhed-held lands further north. Learning that a foreign power, the government of Strala, had sent agents to aid in their rescue and was deploying armed forces to aid the Lenton in opposing Torhed, Aemyx immediately vowed to use his contacts in the guilds to get workers, laborers, mechanics, and soldiers for the cause.

After organizing and leading his own militia units in the liberation of New Volaria, Aemyx took a select few of his trusted guildmates to the older Volaria to the south to connect with his former friends and colleagues and muster additional forces to the cause. The timely arrival of Klementonian forces allowed the Lenton Republican forces to repel a Torhedist counter-attack, and link up with Aemyx in Old Volaria.

Aemyx now leads the siege against Torhed Pass, and has delegated many of his governmental roles to Vaekar Kastareon and his recruitment roles to Saerys Lentigar.

Information

Saerys Lentigar is former member of the Elyreian Defense Bureau and current leader of the nascent Lenton Defense Forces, as well as a revolutionary leader in the Lenton Republican resistance, and a member of the Legitimist movement. Single-handedly responsible for coordinating a myriad of persons of varying skills and abilities, along with the Stralan MIS and MMS, she lead the original resistance to free the Lenton from Torhedist imprisonment, and has since been a key member of the Lenton's intelligence and counter-intelligence operations.

Personal Life
Saerys Lentigar was orphaned as a girl; her mother died in child birth and her father was killed in the DLE Prince Kurast testing incident, leaving her with no family. As the only orphan caused by the disaster, Saerys was made a ward of House Vaelans to be educated and cared for until she took her Oath of Citizenship.

Showing aptitude and cunning during her time in the Youth Pioneers, Saerys was encouraged to join either the Princely Guard or Palatial Guard in New Volaria, as much a reward for her hard work despite her obstacles in life as it was an offer to offer consolation for her loss of her father in the line of his duties in the service of the Princely Elyreian Navy. Saerys would elect to join the Princely Guard, and would serve for two years.

She caught the attention of members of the Elyreian Defense Bureau, the MJE, which maintained a corps of intelligence and signal officers across the myriad Elyreian military branches, including the Princely Guard. She joined the organization and completed her mandatory two years of training just in time for the Elyreian Civil War.

Civil War and Future
With the Princess and her only remaining heir believed to be dead from assassinations blamed on both foreigners and the local Reiwan, Lord Jova IV Torhed attempted to seize control of the government as a Regent and persecute a pogrom against the Reiwani natives and a harsh militarization campaign. Having worked alongside Reiwan in the palace, and having a remaining legitimate government of Elyreia, Saerys escaped the palace seizure by Torhedist forces, and upon learning of the coup and arrest of the Lenton dissidents, began to put her skills to use.

She was surprised to be contacted by agents of the Stralan MIS and MSS in offer to help free the Lenton, and organizing a dual-strike against the Torhedist forces that were outnumbered in the capital, Saerys was able to rescue the Lenton members, including Prime Minister Vaekar Kastareon. She immediately surrendered control of her small resistance group to Vaekar in recognition of the lenton as the only sole and legitimate government left in Elyreia, and was rewarded by being made third-in-command and head of the fledgling organization's intelligence networks.

Saerys was tapped for leadership of the eventual Stralan-trained Lenton-loyal intelligence and counter-intelligence security agency, the Misma Mentyr Lenton, and has begun to use her training to suppliment Stralan practices.

*This would freeze all transport of Maxifaerian goods to Galiczie
*Heck, it'd cut off the majority of the Pathonian market to foreign countries
*PB would be isolated, kinda.

Oh no!

> Would this lower Maxifaerian imports? If so, file a request and you might be given a loan.
> Oh no! What will the decently self sufficient Maxifaerian domestic market do without the very few Pathonian imports we have! Nooooo~!
> I mean... why isn't the PB government stopping this? This is quite literally the most absurd thing I've heard yet. And don't blame it on corruption, we've got corruption but at least the CARs still functions.

> Also, if you really need manpower for the construction of those massive sea vessels, perhaps look towards the Z'vonen market? A decent few corporations (or even governments) might be fine with accepting a contract like that.

> Question... how will you be able to operate all of those carriers with only 20k DF?? You'd have essentially no Air Force or Army if you want at least one other ship that isn't a carrier, otherwise you'd have only carriers!
