Spiritualiza-Locuval Pact

It has come to the attention of the nations of Lerodas that the Empire of Locuval and the Federation of Spiritaliza have recently signed a pact of mutual cooperation. The news has become quite a shock throughout Lerodas, as two defensive pacts have been signed in quick succession. It is currently a mystery as to what will become of this pact, however the main points of the pact have been recorded.

The following is known of the pact:

- Open-trade has opened between the Federation and the Empire

- A defensive agreement has been enacted between the two nations

- The nations have opened borders, allowing culture to spread between the two nations

Celebrations are being held throughout Locuval and Spiritualiza as the two peoples meet each other, proving the pact to already be beneficial. Only time will tell as to what will become of this new pact.

We totally rebuke and deny the idea that the Khalite base cities in the East are unnecessary. Have the Lizan people suffered extreme rebellion, terrorism, massacres, war, and homelessness since the year 246? Have hundreds of millions of the Lizan people been claimed by a deadly conflict that continues to this day?

We are deeply insulted by the disrespectful statements made by the Federation government, when millions of our brothers and sisters lie dead and stiff in Desolatian dust, and elsewhere. You know not the horror and the suffering endured by Khalite people during these difficult times in the East, while your people remain totally safe from foreign aggression. It is the Federation government that is guilty of hypocrisy, with you Imperialist fascist pig-dogs barking at the end of your chain at supposed threats. And you, you wretched bastards that sit in your castle of glory, so morally virtuous and mighty, you stand as some paragon for the world to admire, when you help no one but yourselves?

Until Spiritualiza fights for something more, until it makes true commitments to its own species and its human brothers across the world, we hold you in the utmost contempt.

The Prime Directorate poses a final question to Spiritualiza: If the Federation does not stand for humanity, what does it stand for? Until know, we have been lead to believe your nation champions the cause of humanity, but when alien powers threaten human lives, you are nowhere to be found.

The Spiritualizan Federation hereby cuts all ties with the nation of Khalite due to their disrespect and rudeness to our nation and those who died for our beloved nation, Spiritualiza has fought in countless wars not only in the west but around the world. Spiritualiza will also withdraw from the Novian Order as the alliance is useless and inactive. Spiritualiza will never make any sort of contact with the Combine ever again.

United Fascist Pact

Unforeseen events to the nations of Lerodas have startled the world. The Novan Order has lost one of its respected superpowers, Spiritualiza, of which has joined a new military force in the West. The trio of nations, Spiritualiza, Katha, and Locuval, have created a new alliance of fascist nations.

A new power has arisen.

The pact is inevitably going to prove strong in the future of Lerodas.

Felkeswyeric Response to Spiritualizan Doltishness

Felkesjud would like to remind the unlearned down in the Spiritualizan government that the New Dawn Alliance has not launched any wars of aggression. So, their foolish claim of the pact that Felkesjud is a member of is unfounded and depicts only the failure of the Spiritualizan education system. It should also be noted that the New Dawn Alliance focuses on peace--not war, as the Spiritualizan government would try to claim. This caterwauling of the Spiritualizan government is nothing more than a petty, weak veil for their true aim--a reason to project their imperialist country on the rest of the world. The Felkeswyeric government is disappointed in the nations of Katha and Locuval for joining Spiritualiza in this new alliance. Allegiance with the scheming, snake-like state of Spiritualiza will earn your unfortunate nations and people nothing but woe. In addition, Felkeswyeric naval ships are to be dispatched to sector 707 to blockade the mouth of the bay, as well as the passing of any Spiritualizan ships bearing materials for the construction of the base-city, or any ship bearing military arms. Sailors manning the ships will be ordered to not fire unless fired upon. All Spiritualizans ships will be searched before passing through the blockade, and any found to be transporting banned goods will be forced to turn around. We will not allow these imperialists to finish the construction of their military base on Norvestur soil.

However, we find ourselves giving praise, in an odd turn of events, to Khalite, for standing for what is right in the world. As of late, they have seemed to do some good with their strength, power, and influence. Though, this should not be interpreted as our nation having full trust for the psychotic dictatorship--simply a ‘thank you’ for their current attitude. We hope these current policies they have recently enacted uphold, for it is a refreshing change from their usual bully character on the world stage.

Now that brings us to the current issue, which is the collapsing pact of NOVA. With Spiritualiza having left the pact, it is almost guaranteed they will ignore the military restrictions emplaced on Lerodas’ three trispheres as a result of the NOVA pact. Their leaving the pact also means that the West is no longer under authourity of that unjust alliance that forced itself on others. And, with that, Felkesjud construes this event as though its agreement to the pact has also come undone. Sp, while we are willing to keep any relations with Vanhania and other NOVA nations, including the recent trade agreement struck between our two nations, we feel that we are no longer bound by the former treaties of mutual defense or longitudal involvement and restriction on Lerodas. In accordance with our tradition, we hope that this issue at hand is resolved with peace and ends with prosperity for all, no matter how likely--or unlikely--that result is.

Near four hundred men and women, all of whom were members of the Nefdýr af Pjórdefélgslågisme (Committee of National Socialism), dominated a corner of the enormous beer hall popular to the capital city’s citizens. Most of the people present were civilians who were members of the committee, with roughly only forty to fifty of those present being seat-owning Presidium Committeemembers. Currently, an ongoing discussion about The Committee’s future moves in the Presidiums was beginning to heat up. The matter of discussion was the next proposal of colonization, which was a key point of the Pjórdefélgslågisme ideology, with a term--Pjórdeburrúm--dedicated to the tenant. And, as the tenant was so dear to the members of The Committee, decisions made about colonization were of extreme importance and required thorough discussion and debate. As it was, the two main groups among the meeting were those who supported the annexation of sector 304, an area with a large reserve of silver, while 504 had a huge supply of iron. But, while iron was more important for industrialization and the building of a stronger military--another tenant of Pjórdefélgslågisme--the placement of sector 304 had strategic importance to The Committee and Felkesjud, as a whole. Even those who were not members of the Nefdýr af Pjórdefélgslågisme could agree to that. For news of Katha, Locuval, and Spiritualiza forming a fascist pact had not gone unnoticed. But, while the Pjågstårni could, themselves, be considered fascist, they did not trust Spiritualiza. It was a nation of snakes and schemers, and it was not to be given an ounce of trust or camaraderie.

“We can not only increase the domestic and foreign economy of Felkesjud, but also protect our southwestern territories if we annex sector 304. Sudvestur Yttrilendr would be vulnerable to a Kathic attack, since they are now military allies of Spiritualiza. Iron is important, but maintaining connection to our colonies is even more so, especially since the area at risk contains our most abundant stores of uranium.” Spoke one Haudr Æsasgotter, a committeemember in the Presidium of the People. “Except, even if they did attack,” spoke a random civilian, “we could fend them off. But, we need the iron to increase the size and quality of our military, most specifically the space-side Alfen Gagnrstjörnukt and the Grundherrkt.” Another person interjected with, “no, we do need the iron, but we should increase our Lofteherrkt and naval-side Alfen Gagnrstjörnukt; they’re the most important for protecting our borders.” And in just a minute, half the people there were going on a tirade about why their plan was best, and why that was what the Nefdýr af Pjórdefélgslågisme should press for in the Presidiums. But suddenly, a loud whistle pervaded through the deafening chatter as Snurri Kvistnurssen, standing on a raised platform where other higher-ups of the Committee resided, made himself heard. The chatter died down immediately as the crowd put all their attention on him, who was one of the six founding members, and current leader, of The Committee. “Now, all have their good ideas, with each having its own merit and truth behind it. But, Committeemember Haudr is right in that it would be safer to secure our own possessions, now, before trying to extend ourselves elsewhere. And, while I don’t expect everyone to throw their lot in with mine, and surely hope that is not the case, I do hope many of you come to the conclusion that this is what’s needed to be done.” And, as if a wave had come across the faces and minds of the gathered group, many found themselves drawn by the intimidatingly beautiful steel-grey eyes and their comforting, intelligent gaze. Of course, opposition still existed, but the moldable minds of the masses chose to follow Snurri, as they looked upon him as a learned man. As heads began to nod in agreement, he called for a final fifteen minutes of discussion, and then a vote by all card-holding members.

Finally, when the vote came, it had been decided by all of the members present that the Nefdýr af Pjórdefélgslågisme would be pursuing the annexation and colonization of sector 304, directly north of the fascist, Spiritualizan crony-nation of Katha, so to secure their assets in the southwest outerlands. And, while the bill still had to be written up and presented in the Presidium of the People, then passed on up to the Presidum of the State, The Committee was not going to forego its supporters and their votes, in lieu of its own agenda. So, while it had its faults, that fact was one of redemption for the political party.
