Someone had to break the silence.

Better than Paladinsanity posted a nude selfie....

I can make an Ascii picture of that, if you want

Oh no! A bit of decorum please. Bleurgh! ;)

Decorum? In South Pacific?

I know. A faint hope...

... is worth two in the bushel?

...rots from the head down.

Head down-river. Got it.

"Don't go breakin' my heart"... gee, Cameron's pulling no punches against the referendum. (Pro-tip, Dave; Elton's not Scottish. Should have gone with Simple Minds.)

Yeah ol' Dave is pulling out all the stops. Last week was hilarious. I called it the oh s**t manoeuvre. As in oh s**t Scotland might vote YES. A better choice would have been Billy Connelly singing D I V O R C E. :P

"But... but... a handful of people agreed to it 400 years ago, after the Crown threw money at them. Turning your back on that would make me totes sad, guys."

Weak... he should have called Little Johnny for tips about scuttling a referendum like this.

It'll be interesting, regardless of what happens.

Oi! 307 years ago if you don't mind. :P

Yeah. Weak and pathetic.

I almost wish the Tories would win a landslide next year in the general election. They will then proceed to change precisely bugger all. Hey don't blame me folks, I voted YES!

Methinks it'll be a NO vote, unfortunately.

Sounds like it, from what I gleamed off the old folks debating on the old AM radio station at work. (Work's in a deadspot, thanks to the mountain, so it only gets FM if the wind is right.)

The Bulldog will go right back to mauling the Collie, and in a few years everyone will be acting like they voted yes. "Wasn't me - it was everyone else!"
Had to listen to it when people over here got played by Howard into voting no.

Yeah. There will be a small percentage of older, more idiotic voters that will swing it to NO. It will be close but people will quickly regret voting NO once they realise they've been had yet again by the establishment.

And they'll take a long time to realise any other referendums on the matter are behind "Hell freezing over" on the schedule.

The lepearchauns

Does 'merica need to export some freedom to the limeys?

F**k yeah!

I'd support a US invasio...erm...intervention if we vote NO. Only way to make the world safe for democracy. ;)

And yes Satan will be snowboarding to work by the time of the next referendum.

Back again, again...
Sorry I keep 'Ceasing to exist' - all I did was move house...no phone line, no internet, no TV - felt like I ceased to exist ...but it was more stressful...boxes, boxes, boxes...

Welcome back

Welcome back. Turn on vacation mode this time. :)

Hurrah, welcome back Trev!

On a side-note, as an American living in Edinburgh off and on for the last three years, I have found that sometimes the debate for independence among people on social media (particularly facebook) can be filled with a lot of vitriol. People threatening each other, either to kick them out or accusing the other of racism, it all seems so crazy sometimes. But then I see my friends, some who are yes and some who are no, and I realize people on the internet are just crazy and people can be sensible when debating the referendum.
