Oh so there is potential there with military technology then? Well we will be happy to provide generous economic support and trade any goods you would like, to work hand-in-hand towards developing both our military technologies. Sorlovian military protection would be very appealing to us, if you are willing! We are 92/95 in the Nordic Lands in "most armed". :p However, it's not as if Asterdel is under any sort of threat by anyone, we are an economic powerhouse and i'm not sure what more we could possibly offer you other than a generous sum of money and goods. We would just like to work with you in some way to develop our friendship as nations.

So I've been on sick leave for a week (Standard Sh*t, fever, sour throat, coughing, severe sleep deprivation) but now I'm feeling better again =)
I just came back from one of the most epic Europa Universalis wars I've ever had. I was playing as England and went for the Early GB-strategy (Where you pull out of France early and focus on the isles). I diplomatically annexed Ireland while being content with keeping the Scots vassalized for the moment. I was in a strong alliance with Portugal, Spain and Aragon (Spain and Aragon did not unite in this game).
So basically, France declares war upon Aragon and I'm the only one who honours the call to arms.
Aragon got rekt by the French but thanks to British Sea Power (My fleet outnumbered the French by a 3:1 ratio and I had superior Naval Tech) we got out of that war pretty cheap (I basically handed over Calais to them and saved Aragon from humiliation.
Then it happened. Spain went mad and invaded Aragon, with Portugal joining in. Aragon got rekt again and lost most of their lands and I was left fighting Spain and Portugal. Even though their combined navies outnumbered mine, I still had the technologial advantage. The naval war between us spread from the English Channel were I successfully fended of their raids, to the new world were I defended my colonial holdings in the Americas (Even though my New World Fleet was outnumbered 5:1). After several impressive victories I managed to land an army in Portugal and I soon occupied all of Portugal except the northern parts.
Now the land battles weren't anything special (Portugal had their armies spread all over the world) while Spain was busy fighting rebels. In the end, they bought me out of that war, but it was so intense at times I actually had to pause it several times and just go through all of my options.
France is HUGE in this game and they are the most advanced nation when it comes to land tech, the richest nation in the game with the largest army. I'm so glad I focused on maintaining my fleet, because if anyone sets foot on England at this part in the game (these wars were fought in the 1530's) I'd get rekt, as i have neglected land tech in favour of Naval Tech and Trade/Infra.
Ohh, and I'm playing ahistorically, so England will remain Catholic!

Spain/Portugal jumped on Aragon again so I ditched that alliance. I'm focusing on establishing a base of operations in North America (having recently colonized the Cheesepeake Bay area) and so far I've been left alone in that endeavour, (The French have a couple of trading posts in Canada) while also dominating trade in Europe. I'm currently listed as the third richest nation in the world (France is in the lead, followed by China) although I believe I will surpass China relatively soon.
Meanwhile, I'm contemplating on teaming up with France (since I handed Calais over to them, our frosty relations have begun to warm up) since they stretch from the English Channel to Venice (who they recently annexed) and are the unchallenged military power on the continent. This will allow me to prey on Spanish/Portuguese colonies since France will most likely drag me into many wars with them. Even if the Spanish team up with Austria, France is well equipped to handle them while I rule the seas.
Ohh, and Lithuania annexed Poland. Lol. They're huge, but so backwards it's laughable.
Lol. Brasilistan, Marche Noir, Maxtopia, Bigtopia and a bunch of others are made-up countries that don't exist even in the NS universe (even if there is such a thing). Basically, they only appear in issues, and are only relevant to the issue answer you choose and how it affects your WCR ranking in that specific matter, but they aren't canon in any nation's RP. Issues aren't cannon at all for most, they just help you mold your nation, and even then your nation can even be something completely different as to what NS says about it.
Then again, you can play the game as you see fit. There are no real rules out there ;)

A good song when Svenskis is charging with England trough the breach of France´s walls(Henry V "once more into the breach once more!) or any other country walls´s, and if disaster happens, well, then, the song full meaning is conveyed.

Ah, Brasilistan. That ends up being a colony of every nation when you come down to it. A rather odd series of issues - it's only a matter of time before it pops up in my issues list.
