Liberate Social Liberal Union

A resolution to strike down Delegate-imposed barriers to free entry in a region.

Nominee (region): Social Liberal Union

Description: THE SECURITY COUNCIL,

Recognizing Social Liberal Union as a flourishing region of nearly six years, home to over one hundred native nations,

Appalled that The Invader Network of The Invaders, The Communist Bloc, The Kingdom of Great Britain, and USSD, along with their friends from The West Pacific and Exodus, has broken the peace by executing a massive invasion on this well-meaning community,

Impressed, despite the dire situation in Social Liberal Union, that Marshal T E Lawrence of The Invaders, in cohorts with other elite raiders, was able to conduct this seemingly-impossible invasion,

Determined to end The Invaders’ reign of terror on Social Liberal Union, which includes the banishings of many natives of the community,

Establishing that the possibility of the institution of strict border control policies is high, given the fact that Operation Golden Gate was a stealth operation stemming back months ago,

Realizing that without outside intervention that this invasion will see the end to the thriving community life of SLU; the Security Council hereby liberates Social Liberal Union.

LIBERATION PROPOSALS:
The bottom line is that when Defenders lose in the field of battle they result to cowardice and change the rules of play. I have kept my Region Raider free for 12+ years by keen vigilance to the Game Play throughout the JenGuv World. This has included Puppets and Spies and infiltration of Regions. Such is the way of the Rules which I accepted when I created my Nation on October 28, 2003. If a Region cannot defend itself, too bad! The leadership should have been responsible. These SC Resolutions tilt the balance to Elitist who determine what is a Raid and what is Liberation by manipulating the Rules. It is like playing with a brat who takes away the toys when the outcome goes against his bias. The only security I have in my Region aside from Endorsements is the RIGHT as Delegate to Password my Region against any threat. If this RIGHT is at the whim of the SC then have the game makers remove all password abilities across the board thereby removing this continued farce of hypocrisy.

As such Mikeswill voted AGAINST the World Assembly Resolution "Liberate Social Liberal Union".

Syria certainly is a prime example of where this issue is occurring, however, the concept of giving-aid-that-never-reaches-the-intended-target is in more places than one may think; it's not all terrorists and bombs in remote locations.
