Not really, no.

Topsail empire wrote:About 2 or 3 lunches a month had beef or pork or anything. The rest had just tilapia or chicken, or no meat at all.

....that's really fancy for school lunches. Mine served nacho chips as a MAIN meal, or really gross pizza that gave me heartburn and acne. Or, you can buy a really gross sandwich with a squishy apple.

So if I had to, I bought the pre-packaged snacks. Vegetables would be a luxury, lol.

Equality is being able to express yourself how ever you want without having to worry about wether it offends someone else.

Usually grilled Tilapia with roasted vegetables.

I dont find it wrong at all

Estradia wrote:thats how it should be. You can participate if you want to but its not a requirement.

Well NY has this liberal thing down, it's definitely not as recent here.

I wouldn't be able to do Cary Academy. My least favorite people are smug rich snobs which are offended at EVERYTHING and think that just because they are offended that everyone should fix it. They can suck my bacon, I'll bring a whole deer and clean it at school given the chance.

I mean, it's disrespectful. It shouldn't be mandatory but not standing up and saying the pledge is really rude

my schools food is actually really nice for being a public school.

Something you'll rarely find in CA.

Topsail empire wrote:That's just... wrong

How? If you wanted to say the pledge, you could stand up and say it. Some people did that. We had the option to choose.

Yeah, if Veyris wasn't still in school there I would have no desire whatsoever to go back.

how is it rude?

Sounds like it.

School lunches at my school are horrid. Low portions with pears more akin to rocks, and the meat tastes and feels like vaseline.

Not really. Patriotism is overrated and has caused problems for us as a society.

Estradia wrote:that and water

Only in the last few years.

El Fiji Grande wrote:Something you'll rarely find in CA.

I still think that the NE is best at liberalism.

Othelos wrote:Not really. Patriotism is overrated and has caused problems for us as a society.

I'd agree with that.

You're disrespecting your country. It's like sitting down and picking your nose during the National Anthem.

I disagree. You're sure to find liberalism, but it's mixed with authoritarianism there, like much of the east coast.

I think I've done that before...
