I go to a public school. Whooo!.. yay! I just get in by default because I live in the town I live in. No application process to deal with. XD

I hate how it's so liberal. We didn't even say the pledge of allegiance and we didn't even acknowledge Christmas.

Mallaska wrote:Good, that's what keeps me away from them.

Same. I strongly dislike how intertwined religion is with the republican party. I don't feel that they have ANY kind of moral authority or superiority.

And most of the lunches were vegetarian because the staff was afraid that people would get offended if they served meat/

Yeah, the republican party is a good example on why Seperation of church and state is such an important thing to uphold.

*shivers* If Cary Academy was a NS country, it would be a "Scandinavian Liberal Paradise", where even saying the word "gay" will get you expelled

I remember the art teacher one time saying that calling someone gay was like using the n word.

That was pretty much my old school in CA. We only had to say the pledge once a year - and that's the way I liked it.

not even - Gen X'ers and millenials just need to be the driving force in politics. That's about a decade or so away - and it's when things will really start to change.

yea, that's just to far. Just because you want people to be equal doesn't mean you can restrict what other people can do. Thats kinda the complete opposite of equality.

Yeah, we had that too.

And there is so much gender equality. Too much gender equality.

About 2 or 3 lunches a month had beef or pork or anything. The rest had just tilapia or chicken, or no meat at all.

thank the lord. Us youngens really know what we are doing.

Actually the scariest thing I saw was that people seemed to have no problem with the plot of GATTACA.

I remember we had a conference one time that called all men rapists and that men oppressed women.

We just didn't have a cafeteria....that anyone ever went to, that is.

That's liberal in NC?

In my high school, the pledge was said over announcements, but you didn't even have to stand up, and people just kept talking over it.

It sounded straight off Tumblr

thats just wrong. You should have to restrict yourself in order to not offend others. You should be allowed to celibrate what ever you want with no restriction, especially in a public school.

thats how it should be. You can participate if you want to but its not a requirement.

Precisely.

Why does someone keep trying to log on to my nation? (and failing)

It was always some weird stuff like "pinecone and rabbit rectum stew" (jk)
