More like Castille proper.

Yeah will do man.

I've always just assumed I was the largest oil producer and exporter in GD.

I think that you have the economy that I know the least about in all of GD, Sumer. I'm curious, what is your economy like?

I just imagine that everyone in Sumer is a sentient tank.

I just got a TG from Lyras. He has the new HP Stream 11 computer, and is in the process of attempting to get Telstra to restore his internet service, so that he can be active on NS again, among other things.

Question for you lot.

Idea was floated that we have our own solar system for GD, a while before that I was RPing space colonies there were loosely based on the RPG Cold Space (Faster Than Light travel in the Cold War era). I thinking of ditching FLT completely in favour of using Space Above And Beyond style wormholes, considerably less reliable but still lets me have stuff beyond our solar system.

Thoughts?

I'm not a hard FTer, I've just participated in Thrasia's 'Star Wars Galaxy' series.

I think everyone assumes they're the largest exporter of petrol. The seas between Guffingford and Tir are saturated with oil fields.

Morrdh, when I do my FT RP that's pretty much what I was planning -- wormholes, but wormholes we can create at will with some sort of ship similar to Event Horizon (only one that "works"). I just have to do more research so I can at least make the babble sound legit.

I was going with naturally occurring wormholes aka 'Space Above And Beyond'.

Takes bloomin' ages to get anywhere and you're screwed if you get your timings wrong, basically a space version of Britain's rail network.

If we ever did Future Tech as a region there are a few good ways to go.

About FT, I have a space ship whose engine can act as a bomb by making a black hole instead of just an alternate rift and can also be used on cars. more features are: defibrillator,

"...and can also be used on cars."
-This pretty much explains why we have automobile accidents resulting to kilometer-wide craters-cars moving at light speed. Well, with all that energy...but I am just kidding.

Speaking of future tech... Non-cannon Alien invasion RP?

Did we ever find an alien?

More like MT vs aliens wielding handheld laser guns. And spaceships that we can reasonably take out with ASATs from the ground, but their triple A is gonna take it out like a walk in the park.

So, where will it begin? Triple Isles, where each isle has a stonehenge with 6 stones each? And full of megalodons? And known around GD for UFO sightings?

So, Battle: GD?

Yes, that sounds fun. Who wants to be the aliens?

I LOL'd hard IRL.

Because I slacked off a long while ago. Basically agriculture and oil are my big things, with a healthy smattering of raw and refined minerals. I don;t see outsourced call centres as being very big in Sumer, what with language variance.

As long as we all agree that Sam Neil is not allowed to participate.

Although I loved S:AAB.

Morrdh, would you care to look at Castillian application for CCA membership on the offsite forums?

In my brief stint of FT RP i did a thing like that. No FTL, used orion drives for early colonization, with wormhole generation via quantam gobbledygook to link colonies to the inner solar system. It made for some fun political stuff. Here's the thread in question: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3611

Please me!! Pick me!

Looked at it and its being discussed, though its been tad low on the priority list for me due to all the night shifts I've been working recently.

I was walking around town and I heard George Harrison's "I got my mind set on you" from a car and that was a pretty nice moment to enjoy. That was my Saturday story, back to you GD.

Lynion wrote:Please me!! Pick me!

But I am suggesting it's gonna begin on UFO sightings on the Triple Isles, then entire Carrier Strike Flotillas missing, then attacks by "flying saucers" on towns.

WHat's more creepy is that the Triple Isles...each island has a stonehenge with six stones each. They form a triangle when connected, and with an eye-shaped underwater formation in the middle of the triangle everything gets creepy.

6 stones/stonehenge x three islands = as a religious person it is prohibited.

Triangle + eye-shaped underwater formation = Illuminati.
