Well, from what I've seen so far and from what Wandy's said, it's worth a lot.

Immigrant friendly nation here!! As in very diverse. You can see it in our motto: "Diversity is the essence of Unity".

Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire soldier!

(Seriously though, looks good!)

Looks good. Now you need webbing, grenade/pistol belt, and camo, Morrdh.

Mokastana and Wanderjar

My God, lightweights? I hated that stuff during training- still have them somewhere, can't believe we used to fight in those things (Good for TABing tho because you can ruin them). Get ya self a god 'ol fashioned CS95 smock and trousers! :D

Trousers aren't army, they're Boston cargo/combat trousers.

Looking to get some 58 Pattern webbing since that had all the SLR related gubbins and then some DPM gear, also something for the helmet.

Going with brassards to put all the insignia stuff on, certainly going with the Morridane flag on it but not sure what else?

Do I keep it simple go with a shoulder title style patch that says 'Royal Morridane Regiment' or go for a shield or something?

Given your country's unique mid-20th centry style, I'd go for something like this:

Made it just for you <3

Ignore the last one, this is improved I believe:

Would anyone like to give me feedback on a revised Flag of the People's Unified Federation?

Since we will now have seven Member Nations per recent news article I changed the star set up, and added more blue. Not sure it fits well.

I like it! It looks really nice man. Especially given that your nation is federalist, it shows equality and unity (as per the 'Unified' part) in Mokastana. I don't know if I'd add the blue though, that gives a lot of Russian influence. Stick with the Republican tri-color you've got, but keep the stars.

Woo-hoo, 3rd healthiest citizen in Greater Dienstad! \o/

...and I literally have the least. lol

Depends on what you want uniform to represent, in fact it means you can be really creative. Obviously I'm more knowledgable on modern day dress regs than that of a generation ago. However infantry regiment BDU flashes and patches rarely change unless there is an Army wide restructuring/amalgamation.

So for infantry (Royal Morridane Regiment) you have the shoulder title on the arm half and inch or so below the shoulder/arm seam on both arms.
Then on the right upper bicep you'd have the unit flash (e.g. Military Police will have MP, British Army R. Signals have a rectangle split in half by white and blue colours).
On the left arm is where you can be inventive, the tactical recognition flash usually displays what broader unit this soldier belongs to, usually a Brigade. (e.g. A soldier in the Royal Highlander will have a unit flash but on his left arm he'll have the TRF of the Royal Regiment of Scotland. I wear the TRF of 1 MP Bde but someone in a unit attached to 16 Air Assault will wear the TRF of 16 Air Assault).

What this means is that you could really add some depth to the internal structure of the Morridane Army just by thinking about what TRFs you wanna put on your RL combats.

But to really answer your question, you ask whether or not you should have the arched title patch or a shield/TRF? I say get both - certainly more authentic.

I too enjoy a bit of Vexillology, if you check my Factbook you might see I've gone a little.. flag happy. Will be adding a Belmotin and Paradisa flag soon.

I see what you mean by to much Russian influence. Will fix that tonight. Might just make the bottom line blue. I like the pseudo horizon it makes, and given we are a ocean based people it makes sense.

Wanderjar

I haven't checked it yet but I'll do that soon. I like the blue bottom horizontal idea, that's sensible and makes a more compelling symbol out of your flag.

Thanks, thats a real big help.

I'll go with brassards, least then I can swap over the insignia and still use the shirt for other stuff.
