Hey all, I introduced myself about a month ago with intentions of getting into this region, but training here at the SOI has prevented me from doing so. I'll be heading to Maryland tomorrow for my MOS school, so hopefully from here on out I have more liberty to develop my nation and integrate myself here.

By the way I would have a little plea: Would you guys like to tell me what are most demanded products on your national markets?

But they are easier to carry than a bunch of civilian foodstuffs. Else civilian version of military rations would not exist.

I've only seen the most diehard of people use them, or those going on more extreme endeavours. Mainly because the civilianised brit army ones cost £5 ($6) a meal, but also because the taste is grim. My bowels even now are spasming at the thought.

6 days of food for $120? You're having a laugh! Whilst I don't disagree they have use and the menus on ORPs are getting better, a lot seem to be advertised to the survivalists, air softers and mall
cops market. Its a trend i see a lot when finding legitimate kit - i've seen a spoon advertised as SF tactical for christs sake.

And then theres the market in 2nd rate military medical kit, but thats a rant for another time.

Fortunately, the legit civilian rations in the US don't have a "SF Tactical Spoon" (we'd laugh at them, if they did).

They tend to copy US MREs more, so you get what you need, straight up.

You might laugh, but I'd bet good money a number of your fellow countrymen might buy in ;) which gives me an idea for NS marketing......

Also, forgot you were the ration pack expert - I do recall reading your extensive personal research into military rations for NS.
