I actually played this game years back when I was still a teenager, and one of the guys I noticed and tried to learn from is Lyras, the amount of effort you put into the game is incredible and I respect that. Me and my gf are currently saving for a trip to her home in Uruguay so my money is kind of tight, but I live in an actual hippie commune so rent is cheap. I'll send money once I get paid on Friday.

Good luck Lyras, I went through a similar situation when I was 18, living out of home with no income surviving on eggs and pot noodles.

Been there, tough call to make whether to have the heating on or spend the money on food.

A helping hand from mates is always useful, whilst still not quite where I wish to be I'm in a better position than I was couple of years back (have not, transport and live where tis virtually rent free).

We all need a helping hand at some point, whilst most things are/will be sorted for me soon I'm still trying to get my writing/Roleplaying Game career off the ground.

I may have money to donate. I have some sitting around on paypal doing nothing, but I don't think gofundme supports it.

You could probably get Paypal to put the money in your bank account, and then you can do as you wish with the money, Greal.

If only it was that simple. Taiwan has some idiotic bank rules about Paypal, so its impossible for me to transfer that money.

Currently in a dire situation-my father hasn't sent me money for living of course, and we haven't paid for four months the rent in our apartment in Iloilo, which is just across the school I go to school to. I wonder why my dad can't support me this good: 70,000+ Philippine pesos of salary, if converted from Saudi riyals to PH peso. He's like a freeloader abroad-his rent, his bills, his transport, paid for by the company he works for; he's a white collar worker, a Quality Assurance Officer. The only thing he spends on is his food and clothes; he still can't support mom and I the correct way. My family's in a pool of debt. But my family is making sure I don't feel the effects, and I am very grateful about that.

Not requesting another fundraiser, okay? And Lyras, I can't donate any money, what with me being a below-working-age teen, and my parents are in dire circumstances when it comes to money. But I'm sending good vibes your way, and I'm gonna spread the word about the fundraiser for you if you allow me to.

Guys, Cards Against NationStates is still combat-effective. Let's make a GD-only game. How's that sound?

Happy to donate to a buddy. Rather then comment on the donation page I will comment here though.
I don't know the details of what you're going through Lyras, but you might know me well enough to know it irks me hardcore to see a veteran in a bad spot. I know you're tough and you'll get through fine, there is no doubt in my mind of that. But you still deserve a little help, and I'm more then happy to.
I grew up dirt poor, I know how tough financial times can be. Now that I'm settling into a good paying career and looking to go up in life myself, I'm one to lend a hand back where it's needed. Don't worry, you're not taking away anything from anyone else I donate to. So just accept it.

Just to put a little life story out there in case you want a chuckle (I laugh now when I talk about it btw). When I say I grew up dirt poor I mean it, for Canada at least. I've experienced homelessness, welfare, etc. My parents bought a nice old 1850s home in the country before my dad was laid off, planning to renovate it. Of course that didn't happen when he got laid off and the economy here tanked. I remember the winter of 1994-1995 when the power was cut on us because of lack of payment (electric heated house), and the temperature dropped to -40C for a month. Those old houses are not very well insulated. We spent the month, as a family of five, sharing the small living room downstairs with all the doors and windows of the house covered up in sheets and blankets to keep what heat we could in, using a kerosine camp stove to heat the place and cook. No running water because my dad drained the pipes to keep them from bursting so we wouldn't have to fix them, and food supplied by the food bank. The rest of the house was so cold you could keep frozen meat on the kitchen table and it would stay frozen easily. It was an experience to say the least.
BTW: Don't feel bad or anything, that was now 20 years ago. Life is only going up for me now and I am nowhere near being in that situation again. In hind sight I'm glad I experienced it, if only because I learned lots of useful things that year. And when I have kids, I'm going to use that story to shut their complaining up. :P

How difficult would it be to get a section of the Regional Forums for the East Dienstani Treaty Organization?
I have a few proposals and want input.

Impossible.

If you want it passworded, let me know.

I thought that you guys would be happy to know that we now have enough donated to get Lyras the Chromebook.

I'll give you ALL the money

I am also in the process of creating some less seen types of designs, like low cost COIN Aircraft in the vein of the OV-10. If you have any requests for types of designs, feel free to ask. Also, I need some people capable of good graphic design.:)

Love the OV-10

Could I get a design for a effective modern siege tank?

Modern Siege Tank? Like a Heavy tank?

United world order

Some what like that. It probably have more to it then fire power but also the capability of an engineering vehicle for clearing obstacles, it's mostly for sprawling urban combat.
