There is still time to vote:
(1) at the General Assembly and on the forum;
(2) at the Security Council and on the forum; and
(3) for the fifth member of RC, on the forum.
So far no one has nominated anyone or self-nominated in the Regional Ministries thread. This includes 1-2 positions to represent Gay to the FRA, IMHO a high honour. This is a tremendous opportunity to be of service to Gay and could be a stepping stone to higher offices in years to come. It's my political philosophy that everyone who wants to serve Gay in an office should be given the opportunity to do so. This being a democracy, you may not find yourself in the office you had originally set your eyes on, but IMHO, service is its own reward. So let's see hustle and bustle out there! :)

I heard it brushes over his sexuality, including his suicide, which is just bizarre considering what a profound injustice it was. I feel like this is what usually happens when straight culture tries to make money from gay stories.
It didn't focus on his homosexuality. I don't feel it tried to his sexuality or the suicide. It's good. I recommend it.

Hi all. I am registering my interest in becoming the regional 'assimilation minister'. (First priority will be recommending a name change to something less invasive sounding, haha). In the role I would say hello to new arrivals, let them know they can ask me for information about the region/ the game (I've been playing since 2003), and encourage them - and the rest of you - to get involved in the regional community. I'd also like to propose organising periodic regional get togethers in real time, principally on the IRC, which seems fairly under-utilised.
Congratulations to Marsaries. I can only hope to follow in your footsteps, and pester you in the corridors of power.
That all sounds quite wonderful. I wouldn't mind a name change there either. We're LGBTQs, not Borg.

I'd like to persuade nations to be representatives to the Founderless Region Alliance, FRA. The FRA does amazing work on NS. As a representative to the FRA I mostly kept in touch as Gay's rep. on their forums, which conveniently are linked at the top of our region page. They have very active forums and are fun to be around.
I did help defend regions but this is not required. As rep. you can help act as a liaison to see how Gay can help the FRA.
