I know, I was just making an attempt at humor.

It's like those old "You don't have to be insane to work here, but it helps" signs.

Haha, don't worry about it.

Perhaps lack of ambiguity in offensive two-word statements would be a better approach for the future. That ought to clear up any misunderstandings I, or anyone else, could have in the future.

Britanno wrote:The difference is that Cata Larga made a light hearted comment and you responded by being a total bellend.

I did not target him nor did I refer to him in the manners which I had spoken, but rather was talking about his position as such. I was quite certain that when there is discussion it's to be a dispute of opinion rather than an arbitrary name-calling competition, which I had done. In no way did I call him anything neither did I purposefully direct any attacks against anyone.

Oh, and since when is calling someone 'bitch' lighthearted?

- 'Oh hi darling I got you your favourite food after work today.'
- 'Thanks bitch.'

Yes, very lighthearted.

Stop taking one-off comments so seriously.

Amen.

We should have OEN General Secretary elections.

Just saying.

Or you could grow some thicker skin.

Just a thought.

You're all being bloody stupid and are all taking it seriously.

Acting like a bunch of frigging recruits and shiet.

This.

Fien.

Can we can the Security Council first? It's completely useless.

Sure. I don't really care. :/

THAT'S COLONEL WAGNER TO YOU SONNY BOY.

Also, a War of Survival and CdE should probably be purged from WFE

If your recruits are allowed to bicker like this there is something wrong with the dicipline.

Guys, chill, calm down, and grab a drink at Toloubar.

There were times when the Drill Instructors would task us with something then leave us to figure out how to do it on our own. This is also how The Crucible works when you get to obstacle to obstacle.

Are you buying?

Without NCOs? Just privates?

Jetan wrote:Are you buying?

Nah. I'll rent one of those spammers to buy the drinks for us. :P

Recruits*

We didn't become Privates (Marines) until we go to the top of The Reaper.

And Yes, without NCOs. You're not always going to have a Corporal or Sergeant watching over you in the fleet. That and you're trained and taught to take charge even as a Private, because the time may come that you as a junior Marine will have to take the role of a Squad Leader or so.

FDF takes completelt different approach. Recruits always train with atleast junior sergeants and later on often officer candidates aswell. Altough that's propably due to conscription, those guys need to learn their wartime jobs aswell. And leading is one of those skills you only learn by doing.
