In the area near the Pulse(the club), there is and near Colonial Drive , but like near the theme parks, not much.
But at universal and Disney there is increased security and more police.

A Homosexual Nightclub was attacked by a shooter, from what I hear there was about 50 deaths(Including the shooter) and 50+ wounded.
Hm...so the shooter killed himself/herself? From a certain point of view, I can see why they would, but don't see how killing the people in the club would do anything for their cause.
If they did it because they hated homosexuals, well then that just makes people that hate/dislike homosexuals look bad. What would be the purpose if it doesn't make a solution for their problem(s)?

My god...that's awful! They did nothing to deserve that. Nobody deserves death simply because of what they like, what they believe, or what they do(barring illegal activities or something sick and twisted like murder or torture)
...And my dislike of people in general grows stronger as a result of this...
My thoughts and sympathy go out to the victims and the families affected by this shooting and hope that such a tragic event never occurs again. I especially hope that this isn't used by politicians as a stepping stone to back their own political agendas...i cannot stand seeing tragic events as such being used in politics to push a certain agenda....it sickens me.

Yes, our military does have a large stock of drones at its disposal. Originally we only had UAVs, but as time goes on(mainly approaching the 2020s) we start developing and certainly using many more types of drones, for various more uses than just air, but now on both the ground and sea as well. Our drone fleet(fleet as in all drones, sea, land and air) has increased greatly along with our drone technology and even our drone defenses(defenses against drones).
By the time the 3rd Ando-Orson war starts up, we have established one of the world's largest and highly advanced drone forces in a military. Though after the wars have ended, we saw more need for domestic drones, such as for law enforcement, medical and fire protection and so in the mid-late 2020s, we started developing more domestic drones for the use of our emergency services and not just for the military and eventually in the 2030s we began to create drones for civilian usage as well for simple household care taking to even aiding in running businesses, we saw these as endless possibilities.
The Republic does use drones in the military, though standard drones such as UAVs are being used for less missions as Probe Droids are sent in for easier jobs. Since Probe Droids, such as the Viper Class, have a self-destruct mechanism built/programmed into them, it makes it easier to rid the area of any evidence of the Droid being there, while still giving the Republic any information received up till that point.

The Ocearan Military has gargantuan arsenals of combat drones, which are launched like missiles from Land, Sea, and even some aircraft launch swarms of drones. These combat drones are absolutely devastating in mass due to their small size, maneuverability, speed, and self-destruct capabilities. Like missiles with the ability to actively dodge and fire machineguns before slamming into an enemy.
While almost the entirety of the Ocearan Army is comprised of robots, and the navy has a large number of robots for fighting off boarders and gaining beachheads.
By 2030 the conventional combat drones hidden away in covert launch facilities and in various military units' launchers became greater in number than the entire civilian population of Oceara(Far outnumbering the Civilian population of Oceara many times over due to the fact they were considered munitions and stockpiling munitions into ridiculous proportions was standard practice after 2018) and by 2048 a massive force of nuclear-armed space-capable drones was secretly created to be able swarm spacecraft in the event of a spacefaring empire attacking the Earth. By 2050 the space-capable drones were refitted with FTL drives giving them the capacity to fight away from Earth.

Well I was hoping the massive Drakul attack on Earth was going to be a big event but for the most part it was just me and Cybus posting on it.
Perhaps a disaster, or a FT one with a very resource-rich system being found in the Milky Way, or the introduction of a new major faction in the EoA, or a diplomatic conference, or a quest undertaken by some of our leaders to find something.
That last idea in particular I would think Cybus would do the best job of being the OP of a thread for.
