We actually encountered the Irkens! They freaked out when they realized how huge the average Evolved is. And immediately and peacefully accepted Mercerism.
I figured, since their society is based off of height, then we must be like gods to them.

Zim is crazy enough to keep that culture from dying... With giant robots. And destroying half of the Irken planet without any help from his enemies.

That is entirely accurate. We have him hooked up to a virtual reality simulator and a self-replenishing IV. To prevent him from causing massive collateral damage. Of course, we could just shoot him. Or step on him. Or just punch him. But we want to observe.
And that pretty much describes my Empire right now... Minus the Death Star, of course.

We prefer our opponents to submit to us rather than to kill them outright. The only ones we do destroy outright are the ones who refuse to listen to reason, much like the Nihilus in the Colonization Wars.
