The people have risen up in peaceful revolution. I fully support a more free region of democrats for everybody. Free candy all round! Viva la Revolution!
As interim VP I want to impress how vitally important it is that good protocol is followed in all elections and by all elected officials. It is a key principle of democrats, dating back to a time before many of our nations even existed, that Democracy is inclusive. That is why it was agreed that if elections were held in an off site location they should be advertised on the region wall regularly as well. Many players check in here daily but rarely visit the forum, and to leave them out is undemocratic. This principle has been forgotten and abandoned of late, making the legality of recent elections questionable at best. I fully support our interim delegate in revitalizing the region in a manner that will be inclusive and fair to all.
ALL WA members should have recieved the following. If you are now WA, do not worry! You are all welcome to submit ideas; however, only WA members will be allowed to vote in the constitutional vote.

You may have noticed the switch in the WA Delegate position! As your new INTERIM leader, I would like to thank you for your support and cordially invite you to the new Region of Democrats. With your support, I would like to establish a new forum, create a new constitution, allow for more openness, and allow all of those in Democrats to partake in government. To forward suggestions, show leadership, and to be actively involved in Democrats, please feel free to use our regional boards to discuss any and all ideas. At the end of my interim term, a new Region of Democrats constitution shall be drafted and a new WA Delegate will be elected. I will not run for this post. I am the legally elected President of the region of Democrats. We already have laws and a constitution, and I just won re-election. This coup will not last. There is a legal and democratic way to be elected Delegate, and convincing WA nations to endorse you is not the way to do it. If you want to make a political change in the region, you need to do it legally. You are not the WA Delegate or President of Democrats. You will not hold that position for long. If you do not ask those who support you to unendorse you, I will seek your removal from the region.
As i stated before, I question the legitimacy of recent elections. The voters were not adequately informed of polling dates and locations. I also went and checked the constitution as it stands. It seems remarkably different (ie not the same one) as the one that I had a hand in writing 5 years ago and i see no signs of the proper amendment/repeal votes having been held.
Ha. What absolute idiots.
I told ya even if a few douches come and stage a 'revolt' it wouldn't effect the actual government on the forum. Active founder FTW!

As well, your new "democratic" delegate is already deleting posts. This unlawful action should brought before the courts.
The only reason I got involved at all is because some of my posts were deleted before.

It is nice of Bloos to raise such an interesting question of whether or not this administration is legitimate; legitimacy is provided by the vote of it's citizens and the rule of law. Malashaan and I have been here a long, long time. We have seen some very surprising and different phases of Democrats and constructed it's government. Malashaan would know a lot more about that than myself, he did indeed write the Constitution. Your "rules" do nothing to adhere to said constitution.

if we can have proper elections which people actually know are going on, and no posts mysteriously disappearing, I'll be happy. it does annoy me that the old constitution got superseded without going through the proper channels, but that's old news as far as I'm concerned. The way things have been going lately is not acceptable though. There's been little to no activity and elections are held without people knowing about them.

He's not legal. the constitution states:
"A message will be sent out to all member nations a week before the election, as well as a message posted on the regional message board once the polls are open."
This didn't happen happen so the election was invalid. The people have spoken and removed the invalid administration peacefully, new elections should be held as soon as possible.
And the fact that someone else WAS elected, yet you still obtained the position.
I have no problem at all with Bloos serving if he's elected in a constitutional election, but I won't stand by and watch the constitutional process be subverted.

As someone excluded from elections, I find this a step in the right direction; however, a oligarchy of this revolution wold not be superior to the preceding oligarchy of an unacessable forum.

However.
Let me calm down for a moment and discuss the legal side.
If you'd like new elections, I ask that you get on the forum, and propose something like a Vote of No Confidence in the House or a bill requesting new elections. It's been done before, back in January.
However as of now, BloosCornia was legally elected on the forum. No person took the time to send out any message or post because there is no designated person to do so.
Then the then elected Delegate, Bloos, should have.
