We will not repeat our actions in the future without clearance with our neighbours, however, not continuing our operations from the satellite could put our cosmonauts who are aboard the satellite in danger. The nuclear devices we have on board are still experimental, and the set end of the mission is also about the time the devices are predicted to become unstable. We will properly dispose of them into space upon completion of the mission, but stopping the mission early may cause serious harm to the scientists, so I would ask that we at least be allowed to maintain it to ensure they come of no harm.

There is no doubt that the ice levels on this planet have changed significantly in cycles over millennia; however, to think that humanity has had zero influence on these ice levels, due to our bombardment of the atmosphere with CO2 and other noxious gases, would be ignorant. It's possible that it's a combination of both factors - nature and humanity, but humanity has its share of responsibility; just how much, well, I'm not a scientist in the field of climate change. Some would deny humanity has had any impact, but they are in the significant minority of opinion.

My fellow nations of the Arctic. It is with great honour and humility that I take up the post of Minister of Regional Affairs. I thank all those who voted affirmatively in the poll, and to those who voted negatively, I shall work to earn your trust and respect. It is my firm intention to fill this post to the best of my ability for so long as my fellow states of the Arctic should desire.
I shall attempt to bring to this job a sense of duty and integrity, to be fair, unbiased, and balanced in all matters of the region that we have been blessed to call home.

We are currently preparing for the launch of мир 2 for first of next month. No one need worry; this one contains no nuclear material. We are launching a manned satellite to perform the first manned flyby of the Moon before returning. мир 1 will be landing soon, as the mission concludes on the same date мир 2 launches.
