o.o

I am pretty sure I saw Ron Perlman, Taylor Swift and Brad Pitt in the Kotka over this weekend.

Depending on which part of Finland you are, phrase "haaskannäköinen nainen" could be understood either as "beautiful-looking woman" or "carcass-looking woman".

tough choice

I have decided that I REALLY need Dark Souls. I've never played, but it looks REALLY good. And hard. And good.

It's a very good game.

That was a solid episode. Good stuff, really.

If you don't mind dying a lot it's pretty good.

There's some other games that follow a similar philosophy of "learn by dying" and i've enjoyed those games as well.

I really like those games too, you have to hate games that whatever mistake you do has little to no consequenses.
Dark souls seems pretty good. Might try it as well.

Those crazy cannucks. :P
RIP racoon.

Finally watched Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep. You know, I kind of wanted to hate this episode because ever since Princess Luna became a fan favorite, the fandom has kind of portrayed her as this sad and emo pony who's filled with regret about her past and is all mopey dopey. However, I'd have to give it to the writers who worked on this episode. This is probably the first and only time we've seen Princess Luna actually dwell on her past, and she's not being emo about it. She's punishing herself in her own dreamscape because she cannot forgive herself for what she did as Nightmare Moon. Once again, Princess Luna is relatable to me because I honestly don't remember the last time I forgave myself for anything, if I've ever done that. And yea, that doesn't really do really great things for your mental health. This little tidbit of Princess Luna's mental self-flagellation is also interesting considering that in three prior instance, she helped the CMC in the dream realm. If we actually looked at the lessons she taught, all three of those could be tied into Princess Luna/Nightmare Moon herself. In short, in helping the CMC, Princess Luna may have also been trying to help herself. So in short, Princess Luna has a lot of baggage. Princess Celestia should probably look into hiring A Royal Therapist. Maybe prescribe her some Prozac. The final thing that came to mind is how isolated Luna's mental self-flagellation was until Tantabus escaped. I mean until this episode, Princess Luna was very much like Princess Celestia, a regal ruler who cared and loved her citizens and did what have to be done for the good of Equestria.

Some other observation, LyraBon is totally canon at this point. This episode was basically a ponified 30 minute Inception, Rainbow Dash is really over-compensating, and Princess Luna has complete and total control over pony dreams. So, she can really mess your stuff up if she wanted to.

I just enjoyed seeing the weird nightmare abominations and such. So many neat little set pieces of ponies being chased.

Also, I found Derpy. :3

Seriously though, why are we still complaining about Dash? Can't we just "lost cause" this pony?

Quandarm wrote:Seriously though, why are we still complaining about Dash? Can't we just "lost cause" this pony?

Because throughout the series, she actually had real and meaningful character growth. Probably the most character growth of anypony in the Mane Six.
