my nation has 8 million people. Any way to make it grow faster?
Nope. Patience is a virtue.

Hello everyone, hoping to be a useful addition to the region

Well, moving to Black Hawks was not a particularly useful thing to do.

They probably were recruited by that crazy tg they send to everyone moving into major defender regions. It basically says how great and harmless raiding is and how boribg defending is. Obviously, it's a load of BS.
Hi new friends! I've just started today! I can't wait to learn more about the game and interact with all of you!
Peace, love and happiness

There's a FAQ that covers it, but the short version of raiding is moving into a region with a bunch of your friends, endorsing the same person, and subsequently having that person eject all the native of the region and lock it down.
Hmm. Maybe we should get a link to the FAQ in the region description or something, with all these new nations around. Might simplify things.

I'll explain. The delegate of every region is determined by who in the WA has the most endorsements at the time of an update, twice a day. What raiders do is send out a team of nations to invade a region just before that update and endorse a single person who will become the delegate. You see, after the raiders seize the delegacy, they can do whatever they please. Whatever they please includes but is not limited to: suppressing the RMB, deleting the Fact Book, changing the flag, appointing new officers, closing the region off with a password and banning natives. All of this can cause irreparable damage to a region, meaning even regions that are liberated can't always be restored completely to the communities they once were.
That's where defenders such as TITO come in. We do something similar but for good. We find occupied regions and, before the update, endorse a single person who could be one of our own or a native to become delegate. They can then take back their region. Another important mechanic is influence. Delegates don't have unlimited power. They amass influence over time that is "spent" whenever they kick someone or use their power. Endorsements speed up the regeneration of influence. If you take a look at my influence stat chart, you see that it shoots up, that's when I started getting endorsements before leveling out when I left for TITO. Influence also resets whenever you leave a region. That's why a raid or defense mission could take a good bit of time. You don't always have enough influence to fix everything.
I hope this explains it well enough though there's still other stuff that even I'm still figuring out. Joining TITO is a great way for you to learn even more about defending. If you've got any other questions, telegram me or maybe Klopstock, our field commander.
