Is the current Security Council proposal supposed to be a joke or is it just someone who is extremely inexperienced in writing stuff like this?

The Invaders are dying to get themselves a condemnation. It's a badge of honor for them. Quite frankly, it's probably written by one of their puppets, too. As a general rule, I believe Boltor, the delegate, votes against these ones. Especially when they're so poorly written.

I think it's both a joke and an attempt to get themselves condemned. I'm not going to even dignify this proposal with a vote.

Interesting Fact that I found out: The G-Forces emitted/given off from the launching/take-off of a Venator Class Star Destroyer from Star Wars would be approximately equal to that of a Space Shuttle at Maximum during launch and reentry, but 1,000x greater at approximately 3,000 G-Forces.

What I miss??

I found the SC proposal hilarious. I hope it gets passed so I can cringe at it 🎶🎷

The Federation of Seven Colours

Motto: “Towards Hope and away from Despair"
National Animal: Phoenix
Currency: Talers

Nation Summary:
The Federation of Seven Colours is a large, cultured nation, remarkable for its parental licensing program, smutty television, and irreverence towards religion. The compassionate, democratic population of 99 million Seven Colours are free to do what they want with their own bodies, and vote for whomever they like in elections; if they go into business, however, they are regulated to within an inch of their lives.

The enormous, outspoken government juggles the competing demands of Education, Welfare, and Environment. The average income tax rate is 71.4%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The Colourful economy, worth 5.82 trillion Talers a year, is highly specialized and mostly made up of the Trout Farming industry, with significant contributions from Information Technology and Book Publishing. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 58,796 Talers, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Computer users are buried daily in thousands of unsolicited emails, same-sex marriages are increasingly common, birth rates have hit an all-time low, and the arms industry has been shut down in a surge of pacifism. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Seven Colours's national animal is the Phoenix, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies.

Seven colours is an enthusiastic nation who is an asset to the region. Welcome and we hope you enjoy it!

I didn't expect that. Thanks :D

How do I raise the black market without being authoritarian?

Can we all take a moment to realize that this is page 4444?

A page like this won't come around for awhile (1111 pages if you can't math)

I've already voted against.

Generally if you want to make sure your opinion is heard by me and guide my vote in the WA, just reply to the discussion threads on our offsite forums. Citizens can also vote in the polls which are my primary source of direction to vote in.

Although I am the first to say that the government should have a secret stranglehold on everything

Doesn't the black market pop up in the absence of authority?

Then again the government can fund the black market thereby creating more income and a false sense of economic freedom

What's the actual effect of a condemnation?

Is it more than a slap on the wrist?

I still don't understand. How on earth does this happen? How did that condemnation get passed by WA delegates?!

On the WA/SC board, it says;
"The WA takes proposals seriously. Nations that repeatedly submit inappropriate proposals may be ejected."

"Either dumb people, or people who wanted this to get passed as a joke, like me for example.... Probably a mixture of both..." He hoped it was a mixture of both, but international UnEdu-teligence Test Score is not to be disparaged (I hope someone actually gets the reference)

Well, at least it shouldn't be too hard to comply with the WA proposal. I just made it easier to become a citizen in Thranon. :P

The white market is everything legal. The black market is everything illegal. Wouldn't that mean that I have to make everything illegal to turn my white market into a black market?

Golgariswarm wrote:No idea.....

Recently, the General Assembly finished voting in the bill "reducing statelessness". The telegram was a notice that it passed, and that a very minor change has occurred in your government in order to bring it to code. In this case, probably just a tiny bump to the HDI or something along those lines.

Golgariswarm wrote:What's the actual effect of a condemnation?

To the best of my knowledge, a condemnation is essentially just a slap on the wrist. When a nation or region is condemned, they receive a badge visible to everyone that they have been condemned. Raiders tend to wear these badges proudly, unfortunately.

Anyone know what this is about?
