I have been an inoffensive Centralist Democracy for 3 weeks now. Usually I'm a "Father knows best" state.
Usually I'm either a Left-Leaning College state or Liberal Democratic Socialists. Sitting steady with just Democratic Socialists for now.

The newly elected Chancellor, the Conservative Democrats leader, gave a speech in the Petra (Perotasoan parliament) today regarding changes in Perotasoan general policy.
"Firstly, I will advocate for the return of the imperial family. We need our emperor in the Petra for patriotism and stability of the government. He will have a say in governmental affairs, but less so than before. That way, our confederation can be something special in the eyes of the international community without giving up democracy.
"Secondly, the government needs to reform. Historically we have been inclined towards socialism, and I want to keep that going, but we need to inject some capitalism into it. Our economy needs to improve by at least 60/100 to 81/100. This may involve withdrawing governmental help from the many corporations that decided that they need our help.
"Additionally, I would like to see political freedoms increase. The people must have a say in more important governmental issues. This may involve increasing the number of referenda held in Perotasoa. Similarly, we must devolve more powers to the cantonal parliaments of the 14 cantons of Perotasoa. That way people will have a more direct say.
"And finally, Perotasoa would like to keep its colonies. I confirm that under my watch, Perotasoa will not lose important protectorates and colonies, such as Ny-Bjornsby. This aspect of our government must continue. Of course, we will devolve more powers to the protectoral governments, but they must be set up by Perotasoa only.
"I would like to bless Perotasoa with the best future possible and I hope I will serve this nation as Chancellor well!"
