Region: The Versutian Federation

Auriga wrote:You make some very good points; and I agree that you were an excellent Minister of Immigration, there is no doubt in my mind about that. But you can see how the situation appears to be a bit odd and how having a new region comprised of old government members can seem suspicious. I am not ready to give up on the Versutian Federation; I still believe that there is a chance for this region to restore itself. What we need is for more active members to get involved and for the founder position to have new people assigned to it. I don't accuse Jenlom of foul play or of being neglectful, but we need more active people who have the ability to access the WFE and promote the region.

I'll be sticking with the Versutian Federation and want to see it succeed, but I find some of the points you've made concerning. Suggesting that we should disallow government officials having a puppet in another region is outrageous under almost any circumstances , especially when you're talking about a new, fresh region that has familiar faces in it. In fact, I'm not entirely sure why you truly see Audax as a threat to the Versutian Federation, especially considering, again, that they have familiar faces and are a neutral region. While we certainly need all the people we can get right now, neither the citizens of the Versutian Federation nor the citizens of Audax are ours to control, and should not be discouraged from going where they please. Many of the nations now in Audax were longtime members of the Versutian Federation, and we should support them in their endeavors. What will others think of the Versutian Federation if we shun anyone who decides to leave? Would our animosity be a good incentive for them to come back? These are people you're talking about, sovereign nations. Unless they hijack the founder account and orchestrate a coup, they are not our enemies simply because they exercise free will.
