Today is the 12th of January, 2024. On this day, 15 years ago, the Brotherhood of Blood refounded Unknown, and the Unknown Empire of Incognita was born.

Three weeks ago, the Brotherhood of Blood was successfully refounded and restored to our hands, after the removal of multiple defender sleepers. This is the first time in well over a decade that Unknown has held The Brotherhood of Blood. Over the coming months, I intend to put much of the known history of the Brotherhood of Blood on the NationStates site via dispatches, as Tapatalk will inevitably close what remains of our Zetaboard sometime in the new few years.

In 2022, New Folsom was also successfully refounded. New Folsom was a raider region and key ally of the Brotherhood of Blood, and after facing significant inactivity, officially merged into Unknown on the 31st of January, 2009. The Folsom Army was merged directly into Unknown's Imperial Legion and kept their own identity within Unknown as the Folsom Army Corps. Many of the early members and leaders of Unknown trace their time in NationStates back to New Folsom. The history of New Folsom is also recorded within Unknown and still accessible, and I will put their history on the main NationStates site as well.

The raider world has never been stronger than it is today, and those of us still playing are scattered to other regions. But today, we remember one of the few raider orgs who held the torch in the quietest period in NationStates history, when we were greatly outnumbered on the battlefield and still found ways to win.
