Ladies and gentlemen from Chavakia and all over the world,

Yesterday, a most tragic attack occurred in the capital city of New Manchester just before the beginning of the Pax Britannia Summit. This attack was most likely well-timed to coincide with the summit. I have been in contact with the world leaders, who were present in New Manchester when this attack happened, and all of them have, thankfully, survived.

I am very regretful, however, in saying that despite the diligent training of members of the Chavakian army and police force, there were, unfortunately, people that were harmed, and lives that were lost. As of now, we can confirm that more than 20 are dead, and hundreds more are injured. I would like to give my condolences to all the families of the victims, who I am sure, are in great pain. This attack was indeed one of a terrorist organization, and one that I strongly condemn.

Currently, the Chavakian National Intelligence is working closely with the police and military to find the culprit of this dreadful event. Let me also take this time to declare a state of emergency, and let it also be known that the Pax Britannia Summit shall be suspended, until it is deemed okay to push through.

I, personally, know that despite this attack against the entire country, we all stand together, United and stronger than ever, and we shall indeed endure.

Thank you.

A message from the Flecatyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Hail Krylov.

As we here in Flecatya know, terrorism is a threat that must be put to an end. Indeed, it was only a few months ago that KOTIC detonated a nuclear device in Hiroshima that killed millions of innocent people. Therefore, the government, military, and people of Flecatya stand by Chavakia in its crusade against these disgusting murderers, and we will have our Department of Patriotic Investigation work alongside the CNI's efforts to find the culprits behind this.

Remember, terrorists: it is up to God to forgive you. It is up to our President to send you to him.
Hail Krylov.

Chavakia
