note: I have been in a few campaigns..the main stream media have never liked the side I'm on....so it would make it like real life for me.
I abstain on the grounds that the WA is full of neo-nazi hippies.
Interesting, however media sounds more appealing than delegation. So if it's not to much I'm going to drop out of the race and go for a media position.
A run off system? Don't you mean "Stick all the candidates in a death battle arena completely naked, leave an assortment of weapons and armor around, and let them kill each other until there's only one left standing?" sort of run off for important political positoins?
(Note: Pretty much a guaranteed way no one gets re-elected more than a few times... Usually, the candidate for re-election is the one everyone goes after first xP)

I wouldn't worry too much some nations here have a tendency to come back from the dead more often than a lead char in a scifi that jumped the shark three seasons back.
