Chadicia wrote:Commonwealth naval forces, and the impressive Commonwealth military force around the coasts of Uralianya, have already begun engaging the revels with extreme success. The untrained and unorganized government has no chance, Commonweath standing orders are as follows: No civilians targeted, only armed and hostile personnel, government personnel are to be seized, and this coup put down swiftly. For now no bombings are being conducted however the 17th Air Fleet have begun securing Uralianyian air space and shall destroy all hostile aircraft.
This ultimatum has been given to the false rebel government: Surrender and avoid bloodshed, or become hypocrite and lead to the inevitable suffering of your people.
OOC: All outside interference will be autoretconed pending OOC talks between me and Ura. That is all.

Back down now, this doesn't concern the Commonwealth.

Freelundia wrote:"Hello and welcome to Freelundian News Nightly. Today we are going over one of the most major issues that threatens Freelundian way of life. There is much doubt among the Freelundian people about being in the Commonwealth, and what has happen to Uralianya only fuels the flames. Here's Carrol with some of the details," Johann said as the camera switched over to Carrol who was sitting down at a desk with a green scream behind her displaying riots and protests.
Carrol spoke, "thank you Johann. Just this morning thousands upon thousands of Freelundian citizens have rioted against joining the Commonwealth. Small minority groups have been forming that are pro-UGR with many of them saying, 'we would rather be in the UGR than the Commonwealth with it's communist members'. Others say that the Commonwealth will fall after the happenings of Uralianya with it's government beginning to plummet from rebels. Even our own government, including the president himself are having doubts about joining."
"As you can see," the camera went back to Johann, "Freelundia is in a state of turmoil. Little has been done to stop these anti-Commonwealth protesters, not even the Home Guard being called in to take action. The president doesn't want to rouse up a rebellion so it is a possibility we will be leaving the Commonwealth shortly..."

"As you can see," the reporter said. "These rebels are both savage and evil."

The camera panned over the small town, bodies littered the ground and many were children.

"These people supported the Commonwealth and they were killed for it, and yet there are those whom say that the Commonwealth is to blame? When they openly protect those whom hate them still but do not take up arms? The distortion of facts is hilarious in its expense."

Commonwealth Official Announcement regarding the Uralianyian crisis and continued hatred

"Let me make this clear," Elena Wroclowski said, she wore a smart blue uniform. "The Commonwealth is not communist, we are in fact one of the most capitalistic countries out there and I can personally attest to that because it has been my handiwork to make it so."

"Secondly, I find these sentiments against the Commonwealth to be outrageous and ridiculous. What actual complaints has the Germanian government filed? Outside of the dogma, the propaganda, and this bad joke they call "Chunwallism" while screaming at us, what do they hate? Do they hate that our economy is ever growing and prosperous despite their ideology? Do they cling to racial bias still? Perhaps if they'd cease all this nonsense we may be pursuaded to address any legitimate faults the Germanian government sees in ours, but as I see it they have none."

"Furthermore, in relation to the civil unrest occurring in Uralianya. It is the Commonwealth's duty to protect its members, that's exactly what we are doing. The legitimate government of Uralianya has been attacked and as per Section Seven, Asset 34, Manifest 12, Annex B of the Commonwealth Charter of International Military Defence we are required by law to act. However, I consider myself a realist and I invite the new government of Uralianya to the negotiating table in the hopes of coming to an agreement. Commonwealth forces shall be ordered to hold their ground but not advance until we have our answer."

"In relation to the Freelundian unrest, I lament my point about our obligations. However, I shall be working with the Freelundian government before any military action is taken. Hopefully it shall not come to that."

OOC: All I must sayin' is that if you want the commonwealth give you're doing it wrong. I'll probably never bend to aggression and hate, I'll only ever let the Commonwealth go once I'm confident that the powers that be don't mind it being there. Put simply: the more it's hated the stronger it becomes.

387 communist government officials were lined up and shot, per odrder of Tsar Johannes.

"Mein Führer, thank you for joining us this afternoon." The reporter nodded to Krause seated across from her and he smiled back, dressed in a neat black suit with a UGR flagpole resting behind him. "Earlier this afternoon, Frau Wroclowski of The Commonwealth issued a statement that they were prepared to 'protect the legitimate government' against General Hubsburg and went on to accuse your cabinet of 'racial bias' and called your anti-Chunwallist policy a 'bad joke.' How do you respond to this?"

"We know how to tell people to fick off, don't we?" He mused before adjusting his posture and coughing lightly as to prepare his voice, "The Commonwealth has many problems, most of them unsolved. Because of those problems I daresay-- For example, their vast loss of money to Israel and Hyrat and the waning economic grip of the Bank of England to the Welthauptstadt Reserve --They have decided to leave and prioritise their people rather than Chunwall. That is just one of many examples, I really cannot speak on behalf of Uralianya and Freelundia." He'd pause for a couple seconds to clear his throat before continuing.
"We've seen their media in full force in an attempt to portray these separatists as 'savage and evil' whilst still wishing for the new government to come to the negotiating table. I can only say that the Chunwallists have shot themselves in the foot and it coincides with the discussion Herr Schneider had with Her Majesty in Vespergale yesterday. In reality, the Commonwealth does not care about the killing of women and children in Uralianya in the same way they have no qualms about killing women and children in East Valcouria. But as I always say, the first casualty in war is the truth. My point is that they are practising the classic system of distraction in order to paint us as liars and win over support for military intervention in Uralianya."

"How exactly do they do this?" The reporter inquired, folding a leg as she rested her notepad over her knee.

"Create an enemy and unite everybody against them. The 'enemy' in the form of what was formerly fascist Uralianya hasn't worked very well and we're seeing the results of that today. In the case of the anti-Chunwallist UGR, it is a lot more interesting and that is the card that will probably be played again sometime in the future. As I said on a different forum, we can expect absolutely anything from them. We've seen them compile half-truths, quarter-truths and dilute the truth in an attempt to manipulate public opinion within their sphere of influence. Germania was no exception to this, Germania up until recently was the victim of such falsities and I can say with confidence that the world has woken up to this tactic."

"What will be your response to the situation in Uralianya and Freelundia?"

"To put it simply: The UGR is a country that supports human rights defenders. Should either the Uralianyan or Freelundian government request for our assistance, we will answer without hesitation."

OOC: Quick question, does anybody care about This Tower of Ours? Anyone actually enjoy it. 'Cause at this point it's clear that Elena and the parliament can't run the country (see recent commonwealth f*ck ups) and if I just wrote one last post or two wrapping it all up I can get the same result and I personally know the story. But I'll finish it if anyone actually wants to see Nat's story completed.

After talks with the new Uralianyian government all Commonwealth forces have peacefully withdrawn from Uralianya and the fleet restationed to the Iron Islands. Monitary repayment for damages and loss of life shall be offered to the Uralianyian government.

We thank Chadicia for withdrawing, and payment is unneeded, seeing as it will act as payment for all Chadician resources in Uralianya.

The woman was walking down the street, wearing a long wool coat to protect from the cold. She was in τρύπα κόλαση, MLG Gaming's center for Drug Manufacturing and Distribution. While all narcotics have been legal for years, several gangs sell drugs illegally to avoid the government tax.

Dammit, the bar is going to close if I don't hurry. She thought to herself. Thus, her pace quickened and she held her coat closer to her body. Soon enough, a seedy looking building appeared on the street. It's concrete walls were stained and cracked, several windows were shattered, and graffiti littered the building. The woman frowned at the sight, there was so much to fix and so much to change. Without further ado, she entered the bar.

Inside men and women of all types stood and sat. None cared for her arrival. She removed her coat, revealing a slim frame, and took off her ushanka, allowing dark blue hair to fall past her shoulders. Most of the men, and some of the women, now cared. She walked toward the bartender with purpose and began to speak in Greek, albeit slightly accented.

"Good evening, there is a man named Achillios waiting for me." She said. The bartender lost the tender gleam in his eye reserved for pretty women and gained the cold glare reserved for potential troublemakers.

"Achillios waits for many people, who are you?" He asked. The woman smirked with a combination of benign joy, madness, and a hint of sadism.

"Call me Selene."
