Sweden represented by Måns Zelmerlöw singing "Heroes". This is Sweden's sixth win at Eurovision, making them the second most successful country (behind Ireland with eight wins).

They deserved it, great song.

Tecan and Aurea

I liked the top 3 songs a lot. Austria was terible. No Netherlands, Denmark or Ireland this year? I am surprised!

So will this Eurovision restart the SurVision?

I doubt it.

The Netherlands tends to send horrible music based on American folk and Dutch folk music, and often composed by artists (such as Anouk) the Dutch love but is hated by everyone else who knows atleast a little bit of good music.

The Netherlands entered that style of song in 2014 and came second.

Those countries were all awful! So was Montenegro!

It would be good but I don't think many will put the effort in now.

I like how Australia was invited this year. I think they should invite a different country like this each year. I dunno maybe Brazilin 2016?? d:

Polls closed one hour ago in the Aurean federal election.

A exit poll released minutes after the close show a bigger than expected swing to the center-right Social Democratic Party. The opinion polls of the last weeks have showed the projected seats for the PSD at 220-230 seats. The exit polls, however, show the party on course to win 240-250 seats.

The same exit poll showed a collapse in support for the governing Socialist Party. The junior partners, Green Initiative, could be wiped out. The buzz around the Popular Party appears to be just hot air and it looks like the party will not win as much as the 60-70 seats predicted in the last weeks.

I was waiting for the others before me to post. :/

I came in late I guess for Survision

The Social Democratic Party has won a landslide victory in the 2015 Aurean federal election.

More on the news wire.

The Rio Cana Imperial government sends a low key message recognizing that Empires new governing party. Being an absolute monarchy we rather not announce things like elections even though there are local elections in Rio.

President Albareda has sent a message of congratulations to prime minister-designate Marco Basurto and added she is looking forward to working together in the coming years.

IMHO, it was deserved to win. Conchita's song wasn't that great but the novelty factor won. I actually have the 2014 Dutch entry on my Spotify playlist. :P

Hey, I posted! :D

Meh, the Dutch entry of 2014 was exceptionally good for the Netherlands.

Still better than the UK...

Hey guys, I have an issue with naming my capital city.

I'm using the same name for the capital city as for my country, but I don't know if I should write it Ciudad de San Eulogio, or Cuidad de La San Eulogio (such as in Cuidad de La Havana, in Cuba)... Does anyone know which of the two is correct?

De and de la depend on the gender. But "Ciudad de la San Eulogio" is a bit boring anyway.

Two things:
- firstly, "San Eulogio" is masculine so it would be del (de+el) not de la (which is feminine).
- Secondly, you don't need to use the definite article with names, so grammatically "Ciudad de San Eulogio" is correct.

Haha, sorry, forgot about the del rule, didn't really sleep a lot last days. Thank you!

You could also call it "Ciudad Capital de SE"

Might do that, I'll think about it

I wish him good luck!!

If that relative wins can I say I know you, NS speaking, if I decide to migrate to Argentina for work.

Now to more sad things.

Read the spoiler to find out

Today was a sad day. La Clase de Facturación Grupo 898 [Class of medical billing, Auditing and coding group 898] officially broke up today. Today was the last day of in-class work. We had a sort of party in class. Yes, Pizza and other appetizers. We all still need 315 hours of outside practice in a medical setting, at a medical office, Lab or Hospital. Some already have been doing there outside practice. One classmate has already 52 hours. I think she has a good chance that they will leave her working in that office after she gets all her hours done.. I still am waiting to start my practice hours. It is suppose to be at a Hospital but they have been dragging there feet for two months. Another classmate that was also going there with me decided to ask to be sent at least half the practice time to a medical office. They started at that office on Monday while I still wait. Supposedly, tomorrow the director of that program at our school will let me know what is happening. Two classmates end there in-class work in October since they started late. They will still graduate with us even thought they have another group number. Officially, the course runs until August. All must compete the practice hours to graduate. Graduation then is in July of next year. Of course, after you have paid up your bill.

Hope we all find work. The big problem today that we have is our islands Medicaid service. Seems our Medicaid is running out of money which means big delays and no money for Hospitals or medical offices. Add the Medicare 11% cutback and you get Hospitals and medical offices laying off workers. Not a situation a newly graduated student wants to find themselves in.

I wish I spoke Spanish fluently. It would really help with job opportunities in the region.
