She sings really well. She will probably get a record deal.

Did not know "La Voz Kids" is an exact spin off the Netherlands.

Completely forgot Tayrona was supposed to have an election in December/January with inauguration in March. To be honest, Elena Cazador would have won anyway. The Frente Nacional is still (26 years on) the dominant party in post-communist Tayrona.

Tayrona is communist. When did Tayrona turn communist.

I am not pleased with what NS has currently written about Rio Cana.
renowned for its frequent executions, public floggings, and strictly enforced bedtime
Also, our political freedoms went from "few" to "none".

I have the daily questions part of NS turned off so I do not know how this possibly changed. '

He said "post-communist," in other words "after communism." I always imagined Tayrona was red in the American political sense (Republican.)

All this was detailed on the old nswiki which has since CTE'd but I briefly describe it in the opening of my factbook.

A new Generality (government) has been formed in New Catalonia after 6 weeks of negotiations (slightly longer than the average of 4 weeks of negotiations).

More in news thread.

Speaking of elections, I read campaigning is officially underway in the 2015 UK general election. So I must ask of our British players: will you vote and, if so, which way and why? To the rest: if you were British and eligible to vote, would you vote and, if so, which way and why?

Perhaps this might be an idea for a regional poll?

I really have no idea on the political scene in the UK. I do think they need to modernize there political system when it comes to that ancient House of Lords.

I think it needs some reform to reduces its membership but I do think there are benefits to appointed membership. For example: appointing experts such as scientists and economists who might not ordinarily be elected. Maybe keep it appointed it reduce its power to purely advisory or make it partly elected.

Those of you who aren't British....WHO?...Stole..my twinkie!!

The longest regional polls can be up is 14 days so I'll wait till a nearer time before/if I open one.

Probably the best way to say where you stand is this site: https://uk.isidewith.com/

It contains a short quiz (with explanations on less clear questions) and then calculates which parties you're closest to in terms of your answers. It may not be 100% accurate but it does give a fairly good idea.

I'm a Labour member!

I'm a former Conservative member. Unfortunately it lapsed when I was in NZ and I haven't been bothered to renew it when I got home. :P

Im British ( lived in Aus for the last few years ) im sadly very disillusioned with all of the Big three parties in the U.K. I used to vote liberal Democrat because I lived in a very Conservative area and I hated the Conservatives but now the Liberals have no chance in Hell of winning in a general election. people are stuck in voting for either Labour or the conservatives. the Lib Dems are just the king makers when a majority cant be found.

Not likely but I hope Cameron and the Conservative Party wins. Wish my home country had a political party like the British Conservatives or German CDU.

Im a SNP/PC/SF sympathizing LibDem equivalent who supports a confederal parliamentary constitutional-chartered monarchy of Britain(excluding Northern Ireland)

I just notice that the real city of Bahia is part of Rio Cana. How could I have missed such a large and important city like that. Its the center of Rio Cana soap operas.

Just take a look at this short credit opening of a soap opera which takes place in Bahia -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3TLsV1MDK8

So does Neragua, Calimera Entre Rios or any other nation want to buy the Rio Cana rights to that soap opera. Unfortunately, the soap was kind of put on a Rio Cana government censorship list for being too political back then. Part were cut out. Currently, its not shown in Rio but you can have the showing rights for a bargain.

Green Party

I like British politics. It's nowhere near as bad as American politics.

As for who I'd vote for? Either Liberal Democrat or Conservative, I think.

I like the stance Labour takes on workers rights but I don't believe they will keep any promises. It is still the party of Tony Blair whatever the new man says.

I like the Conservatives under David Cameron but I think they maybe look out too much for the upper-middle and upper classes. The UK economy is also doing well again under his leadership.

I don't like how the Liberal Democrats betrayed pretty much all they stood for.

I don't like the Scottish Nationalist Party for wanting to break up the UK (which I think is a lot better together).

I don't like how Farage blames all on immigrants and wants to pull out the EU (I think Cameron is right on that: ask for a better deal and hold a referendum).

On balance? I think maybe Conservative and I didn't ever think I would say it! I don't think Labour will 1) keep the economy improving or 2) keep any promise. And the others won't make too much effect.
