Booking out, saw my girlfriend.
Saw her with, another girl.
Now I have, one more girlfriend.
With my rifle, and my buddy, and me.
^I really hope they don't see this in a negative manner. No way this can be taken wrongly. We also completely dropped the "Booking in / Drop the soap" thing, so... clean lyrics.

Wow, that's a very long time.

Island kid wrote:Wow, that's a very long time.

IKR I was in my last year of Uni when I started playing and the game was 5 months old at the time. A lot of water has passed under the keel since then.

Very charming, Bathor. :p

She is our only official girl so far, right? We should be all nice.

Anyone interested in becoming MOFA? I can't cope with all the incoming embassy requests.

Methinks that there should be some criteria for accepting Embassy Requests. Looking at our current Embassies, there are some that are trophy hunters and some so small as to not warrant notice.

I agree. We need someone to go thru and check each current one and check out each future embassy in detail.

I would say that any Embassy Region that has less than 10 members and whose RMB has been dormant for over 2 weeks, should be closed.

We could make a poll regarding this, if that is your official proposal. (?)

Personally I'm a big fan of embassies, even of 'useless' ones. I just think that we should take more care about important ones.

With two children and a husband, you could have your own little family army on NationStates! :)

(With other words, do they play as well?)

I have a "thing" about Embassy collectors; those regions that have over 1k Embassies or more. There are even ones that have over 2k. I can put together a formal proposal over the weekend if you like.

My husband is into his Fantasy Sports and my children ate still too young to handle the game. If they have the interest, I will bequeath all of my nations to them.

I'd love to have my friends and family play this game. Some great bonding experience over answering issues and World Assembly matters.

Hi you're back, all ok?

The WA proposals these days are starting to sound like crap to me. 95% of the time it's always a really badly written invader condemnation.

Hi! Yes, finally, everything turned out to be ok.

Is the current proposal at vote..... a joke? I don't remember reading anything this bad before.

The running theory is that it was put to vote in order to delay: page=UN_view_proposal/id=kaboomlandia_1477156279

Somehow I get annoyed when someone writes a really sloppy proposal, since I like to take my time to read the legal definitions used and then debate on the merits of supporting/opposing it (I hope to study political science in the future). Of course the author usually gets the attention of all the WA delegates to endorse his proposal, which is why I make it a point to never endorse a badly written proposal.

That being said, why has no one EVER criticized me yet, especially when it comes to how I vote in the WA? I mean come on, I may have a 3 billion plus population, but I'm still relatively new to the schemes and intrigues of the NS political scene. Trust me, I will be VERY happy when you guys start voicing out :)

That means Nazis promoted the current one (Condemn the bad bad Invaders), to delay the repeal in the link, so that the anti-Nazi coalition cannot put a password soon? I'm not sure if I understand well?

Also, how can such a poor proposal reach that far? So many Nazis?

For me it doesn't have to be too formal. We just have to be very clear about what we exactly decide, who has a voice and maybe a veto? and how we decide and how we implement it.

Fantasy sports? what's that dwarf tossing? :p

How computer/video game enthusiastic are your kids? For me it was/is always borderline to addiction, unfortunately.

You tried to convince them to play?

Not being in the WA, I consider their resolutions as "mostly harmless" and generally ignore everything that goes on there.

No, so many hate The Invaders for their raiding. It just takes 93 Delegate approvals to bring a resolution to a vote.

I will spell out my proposal fully when I submit it as a Dispatch this weekend.
Dwarf tossing only happens in Balder. For a full description see this --> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fantasy_sport
As 4 and 7 yo's, the girls haven't developed the language skills for the likes of NS, though the love games like Chex Quest and a bunch of on-line children's games. When they get older, I'll introduce them to Myst and the other action/adventure games. Then, NS.
