I got an issue asking to repeal compulsory vegetarianism , I never made compulsory vegetarianism a thing .

Say guys... it seems to be only on the NS++ extension, but apparently we can make our own regional newspaper. We'd surely want to report on the Fondue Bake-off, don't we?

Oh yes, I saw that was added to NS++ a while ago. I'm not really sure how it works though; I assume either you or New Amerik has to enable it. Anyway, should you do so, I look forward to writing about, and reading of, the many cheese based discoveries made during the Fondue Bake-off.

Yeah, like how hot cheese is only the 4th hottest substance known to science after, in reverse order,
3) The Inside of a pop-tart after toasting
2) A Pitta bread after toasting
1) The inside of a McDonald's Apple Pie

Indeed. We are currently in the process of developing cheese-based fission reactors to harness the powers of hot cheese. Currently the most efficient cheese we have found is stilton, which can reach temperatures of up to 15000K during fission, although regrettably, the isotope produced in this procedure has a half life of approximately 92000 years.

On an entirely unrelated note, Zurginia is happy to announce it will be gifting ship-fulls of warm cheese to the rest of the ROUS. Please ignore the strange taste and any internal bleeding and organ failure you may experience during or after consumption.

Following new legislation in Formerland, Formerland has begun an effort to aggressively conquer neighboring countries (Formerland has found 1 easter egg).

What Easter egg ?

Hi there, after weeks of tedious travelling we have finally reached what we hope to be our destination, a question....
Upon the shores of our humble nation not a mere 5 weeks ago, a mysterious crate was discovered in a rock pool, it contained what appears to be some sort of warm glowing cheese fondue, stilton we suspect. Upon the side of the crate was a stamp, a stamp that read "property of Zurginia".
Thus, having found the nation we think may be the "Zurginia "on said crate, we ask.... Is this cheese safe to eat? If so, do you have any more?

Welcome, Friend.
In response to your questions, our government scientists have been working around the clock to determine the safety and quantity of our cheese fission residue. So far, they have only found an answer to the latter of these two questions: yes, quite a lot actually. Whilst we are still conducting tests to determine the relative safety of this particular dairy isotope, we are confident we will have the results within the month. Thusly, we have dispatched 3 medium sized container-ships carrying the substance we have come to call "stilton-X" in your general direction, which can be eaten as soon as the safety tests are completed.

Thankyou very much :)

When is the next election Zurginia :)

Election for what?

WA delegates?

There aren't any. It's just a game of King of the Mountain here. *evil laugh*

Lol

New event horizon

Hm, the forums just broke. Too much fondue for the servers, then.

*continues to feed it cheese*

For a moment I forgot I had the xkcd chrome extension, and was confused when "election" was changed to "eating contest".

...And, got the app. Now I'm browsing Wired and laughing my ass off.

Micheal brown case resolved : thoughts?

Who?

The Ferguson case. A grand jury decided not to indict the officer who killed Brown.

I can understand the fact that Ferguson citizens are PO'd about the outcome of the case, but there's no excuse for all the random violence (i.e. burning down buildings [like Little Cesar's], and breaking into random stores) that occurred. That's exactly what Obama and Brown's family said not to do.

Terra. No matter what the tragedy, there'll always be opportunists waiting to ride the coat tails of it to behave disgustingly.

I don't live in the US so I haven't heard that much about it, but from what I've read about it, it seems like the police officer was entirely guilty. It's disgusting that police officers always seem to get away with crimes like that, as well as how many people are willing to turn peaceful protests into riots, purely for their own personal gain, or their perverse ideals of 'fun'. It reminds me a lot of the protests following the death of Mark Duggan in 2011, which just got turned into an excuse for violence and looting.

Hmm. That was disgusting. Especially when riots kicked up in other cities. I said it about black Friday and I'll say it about these opportunist wankers. If you've reached a point in your life where you're fighting someone for a toaster, you really need rethink your life.

Zurg, am I right in assuming from this, that you are a fellow brit?

Anyone interested here in doing 4-dimensional FT warfare?

A RoUS RP in general would be nice. (Haven't particpated in one in ages)
