Our regional configuration concerning the May 2016 national elections:
President: Defensor Santiago (36%), Duterte (36%), Roxas (18%), Undecided (9%)
Vice President: Robredo (40%), Cayetano (30%), Marcos (30%)

An average of 10.5 members voted in our official presidential and vice presidential polls. Thank you for your participation. I may have a senatorial poll of only the top 20 senatoriables according to the latest Pulse Asia and SWS surveys, because it will take time to type in all senatorial candidates. Hopefully, this shall be enough, but I fear that our polls only allow a single-choice selection, so I shall see what can be done. For registered voters out there, do not forget to vote on May 9, 2016. There is an ongoing local absentee voting for those who cannot vote on that day.

Of course. He and Joma are good pals, y'know. This is why I doubt him [Duterte] as a mediator since most of the time, he lambasts the government while cuddles with Commies at the same time.

Until now, [fanatical, mobocratic, absurd] supporters still cannot answer about Duterte's connections with the CPP-NPA.

In my opinion, however, it seems that Duterte does not know his NPA friends that much. And as for Sison, being abroad, I wonder how much control and influence he still has of the CPP-NPA. The NPA spokesperson, Ka Ariel, said that they do not collect revolutionary taxes. The Communist name is used by unscrupulous armed groups to extort money. Meanwhile, Duterte says we should pay them. Which is which?

As for the NPA, do they really vote? Are they even registered? Besides, NPA soldiers alone may not be a substantial bloc of voters, only numbering around 2,000 to 3,000. The sympathizers might be the voting bloc to watch out, but it still depends if they really vote as a bloc like Iglesia ni Cristo (with a command of around 80% out of its 1.7 million voters).

Based on your opinion, it seems that the CPP-NPA itself is becoming inconsistent in their "influence".

NPA rebels are still registered voters, but the whole of Bagong Alyansang Makabayan, the whole of Philippine Left, which Duterte admits being a member of, hold substantial number of voters, not to mention sectoral groups led by leftists tied with NDF or BAYAN even. I doubt the NPA will even vote though, since they are an armed wing, unless NDF commands them to. But hey, let's not forget that Duterte had a chat with Sison announcing to him that Philippines will have Duterte as "first leftist president".

Goodbye ole' freedoms, hello communism? Good luck and see you in the gulags. Lol

Hey, Duterte is not trying to bring communism in the Philippines! He is bringing Federalism! Nakita mo ba ano ka matagumpay ang Davao? We have our own 911, the only places in the world where they have 911 is in Davao, United States, and Canada! Davao is also ranked one of the safest cities in the world. Crime is almost unknown in Davao, due to Duterte cleaning the city of criminals, and drug lords. He also promised that he will take away corruption, and you say that Duterte is a huge threat to our Democracy! Look at the Aquinos, the LP! Just look at how corrupt they are! Compare and contrast them. Look at Kidapawan, all those innocent farmers were massacred all because they were HUNGRY! WHAT KIND Of GOVERNMENT IS THIS! 3 dead, 87 missing, and 116 hurt. Think about it, if you lived in the Philippines, how would you get all your food? From the FREAKING FARMERS! How selfish are we to murder them, the ones who provide food for us DAY AND NIGHT! This is absolutely abominable. Those Aquinos are DOGS!
Look at Yolanda, that Typhoon was way back in 2013, and still they haven't repaired the city. Do you know where the funds went to? To the politicians! Look at Roxas in Yolanda, just look at how he treated the Mayor of Tacloban. I will state his very words! "You must be very careful because the President is an Aquino and you are a Romualdez, bahala ka sa buhay nyo!
Also, do you remember when the helicopters and aid came in from the US and the UN? Did you ever see a single Philippine helicopter? WALA, because Kris Aquino was too busy trying to use the helicopters for her own good. In the LP rally, she used SEVERAL helicopters to transport her from one place to another. Couldn't these be used to help in Yolanda?
I formally conclude that Duterte is not a threat to democracy!

Who do you really support in the election?

It is now time to stop these petty quarrels about who won and who should have won. The more interesting question is not who people voted for, but why did the people vote the way they did.

1.) Why did Duterte win? Some say people wanted change, if so,

2.)Why did the same popular names won the senatorial slate?

3.)And why did Pacquiao win?

Take note that these are all largely the same people who voted uniformly for these candidates.

Our insights can reveal the political state of mind the entire country is in.

I'm all for technicalities why these people win. Don't worry, your god Joma is part of the 'why'.

Former Commissioner Benjamin Abalos who was a major part of the NBN-ZTE scandal had his graft case dismissed due to lack of evidence.

I sense truth from Matang Lawin here. I don't need to wonder who he is, but how each of what I am suspecting will be true.
