With the Flag Act being proposed, the question of the implementation of the vote also comes into question.
I ruled that it would be done as a Constitutional Amendment. After arguments, I directed the decision to the President.
He agreed to make it an Amendment vote. He made this decision in telegram to the Cabinet.
Which would make it the Flag Amendment.
I wanted to establish the precedent for changing the region's flag as part of a larger amendment, but I suppose this works.
Minerva, if you can make your bill an amendment proposal, and go into further detail about how we, as a region, would change the flag should we ever desire to, it would have my support.

I am inclined to disagree with you. The war on communism may be an important part of our region but regardless of your views on the war, it should not be the defining factor of our region. It is the equivalent of the US having an image of the Al Qaeda flag with a cross through it as its flag. We have a brillant region which should symbolise Liberty and Freedom, not war against the opposite.

Communism is a threat to Liberty and Freedom, and the flag represents fighting against it. We will have to agree to disagree, I say we keep the flag we have.

Our total existence as a region is measured more than simply the war. Whilst still big part of our identity, it has become only a part of what we represent and advocate in the Nationstates multiverse.
And of course I could go over the utilitarian benefits of changing the flag as well.
