I would field a team if we decided on doing this again, although I have to admit I don't remember the mechanics of it, how we determined the game outcomes. It was based on NS-rankings though, I think.

Game outcomes would be a problem. I'll think about something.

I'll look at them. But in the meantime I am thinking of *nothing*.

“Hrarroom!” (= “Greetings”), and a hearty "Welcome to the IDU", for Commonwealth of the republic, and for Republic federation.

Wow. One cool nation and one that's needing one problem solved.

Shupei wants embassies - should we open a forum thread discussing about it?

If they are interested in an embassy, they should establish one on our forums first, as per procedure. The link to the application thread is in the World Factbook Entry. If I was more tech-savy I would provide the link here, but I'm not, so, you know, WFE.

Why is the Kryzgstan flag symbol (Or xBox logo) at your flag?

Guys! Trive 39 is my official WA member now! Endorse me!

“Hrarroom!” (= “Greetings”), and a hearty "Welcome to the IDU", for Canadian and northern territories.

As the region’s ‘Minister of Hospitality’ I am responsible not only for welcoming you but also for validating new member registrations on our regional forum (If you do decide to join us there…) and for answering any questions that you have about how this region — or the World Assembly, or Nationstates as a whole — works. Please send your enquiries by 'telegram' to The Ursine Northlands, which I check regularly and whose inbox is more likely to have room than this nation’s one is: just click onto that nation's page, and at the bottom of that page there'll be the option to send a telegram to it.

“Hrarroom!” (= “Greetings”), and a hearty "Welcome to the IDU", for The senpai states.

I want to apologize for my dip in activity lately, but I had to sort a few things out in preparation for university this fall. For anyone that's been through the college orientation process, I'm sure you can commiserate. Summer's started, so I'll be a little busy once in a while with social commitments and things of that nature, but that shouldn't reduce my activity levels to how they've been the past few days.

Just moving out temporarily, back tomorrow, will explain then.

Back already: Thought that I'd have to wait for the next update in order to get the banner for founding a new region, which I wanted, but it was instantaneous...

Oh, here is the link. I made a challenge of Trive 44 vs Trive 39 vs Trive 38. Trive 44 won, and that means, IDU PARTY!

Teuberland wrote:Hey everyone, I'm trying to create a Settlers of Catan RPing region.

The plan is to use the original five resources of the game: wood, stone/coal, sheep/wool, wheat and brick. Settlements, cities, roads, and sea routes all carry the same cost, but newer additions include road improvements, sea improvements, and military units (foot soldiers and sheep riders). I plan to introduce more additions to the RP, such as construction projects (libraries, barracks, dockyards, etc.), a victory point system (but mind you that like NS, there is no winner, to allow the region to continue on), and...err..I don't know...stuff. Stuff like game-start bonuses, randomly decided (or personally decided, idk) for the player.

The map will be semi-hexagonal (there are irregular boundaries, such as craggy coasts, but the map will include a background of hexagons. I hope to create an immersive RP with the assistance of NS++ and the included newspapers so that the princes, dukes, kings, and doges of Catan can interact on deeper levels if they wish to.

In the meantime, the land of Catan is shrouded by the unknown..mainly because I haven't created the map entirely.

Ooh, I forgot! Robbers. Definitely robbers and deserts. The region and RP, as you could expect, will have a medieval setting. Any contributions to the game system would be great, but keep in mind the RP isn't one to become so stressful that you spend your day researching military tactics of the 14th century, Plautsdeich German, and feudal administration (even though that isn't a bad idea).

May the sheep be with you.

Check the TNP RMB for stuff I'm too lazy to post!

For the first time since our founding almost 10 years ago (granted, the nation was CTE for at least half of that period) we have reached an economy rating of over 20. And there was much rejoicing all over the lands.

Grellania, Sciongrad, and Trive 38

Hey guys,

How does setting up a embassy work?

Greetings,
